“The Pizza Place is not only one of the best pizza places that I have tried, it has the best customer service that I have seen in the area. My wife and I were married at Mountain Valley Golf Course and wanted to have pizza delivered to our guests following the wedding. The owner, John, was extremely helpful as he delivered our pizza after being closed and even stayed to make sure our pizza was hot. The pizza was phenomenal. The plain, sweet sauce, pickle pizza, Buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch were all fresh and delicious. Our guests RAVED about the pizza and continuously asked us where we got it from. Additionally, the cheesy bread sticks and bread sticks were great. John and The Pizza Place truly care about their customers and their pizza is clearly made with the freshest ingredients. Where else can you go where the food is prepared by the owner himself and doing it for many years. All the food is authentically Italian with that "Taste of Italy". The wife’s owner will greet you each and every time and make your luncheon and dining experience a very pleasant one. You will not be dissappointed!!“

“In Pennsylvania the place is GREAT! For $100 we got giant Hawaii pizza, 2 giant Stromboli, a chocolate musse, pasta, a Caesar salad, plus two small salads. The place: 33 E Centre St Mahanoy City, Mahanoy City, PA. The food there is the best I've ever tried (okay, one of the best) Tysm waitress and cook. They were both sweet and nice)“

“Everyone has their own experience I guess judging by other comments, but my fiancé and I started getting from here more often and haven’t seen or experienced anything negative or off-putting. Cheesesteaks and hoagies are the go to, fries are great, everything tastes amazing. People are friendly, always nice. The only downside is that it is a little pricey, so I cant really justify getting it as much as I’d like to. I was going to add pics of the food but it’s already eaten so maybe next time if I remember“

“Stopped here with my fiancee' on our way home from visiting her son. Ordered the buffalo wings, Toasted Ravioli, Italian Wedding soup, and Chicken Cheese steak and every single thing was amazing! The soup is the best Italian Wedding soup we have ever tasted and my fiancee' gets it everywhere she goes that has it. The young man who waited on us had a wonderful sense of humor and was incredibly polite. We come through this area once or twice a month and will be stopping to eat here for now on, on our way back home. Thank you ?“

“I see some bad reviews, so with some trepidation I stopped here anyway because it was along the way. The cheesesteak is good, it is not scrawny and devoid of meat like some have posted, I swapped out the nasty pretend American cheese for provolone, and got tri-taters. Yes, they have tri-taters. ? I got the everything steak, which has peppers mushrooms onions, etc and is the perfect balance where nothing overpowers anything else. Decent rolls that are toasted a little, stuffed just enough to reach the best balance between bread and meat. Waitress was nice, helpful, and quick. I always take a book with me knowing I will have to wait, but I think I only read 3-4 pages, so they got right to my order with a quickness. They also have three games to play while you wait, which I guess is cool.“
