“Blair county is known for several things. Luigetta’s salad is one of them. Outsiders question it. It’s just lettuce and tomato they say, but it’s more. The dressing makes it memorable. If you are from the Altoona section then maybe you are loyal there, from the Hollidaysburg section then maybe you are loyal there. Either way come for the salad. Always, always get it on the side. The menu in Hollidaysburg is more vast and you can grab some jars of dressing to take home with you but once you’ve had it you’ll never forget it. The building sits on the corner of the historic district near the tracks and is small and homey. Portions are a nice size for the price and you can get something for everyone, even if you don’t want the salad.“

“The food is wonderful & the service is even BETTER!!!! I ordered the BBQ Cuban with no bread a few moments ago and look at this gorgeous bowl they made for me! They really took time to make it super pretty. It made my whole day. And everyone was incredibly kind. I also had my bread put on the side (my hubby loves their bread!) and they even cut it. Just so happy. Thank you everyone there… we will be back!“

“Always have a great meal when we stop. Today was no exception. The only issues I had was spending $43 and not getting credit in my rewards account even though I scanned it, and then after opening my sandwich it was steak instead of chicken. They were too busy to even let them know and it wasn’t a hassle but kinda disappointed us with it being made wrong. Still always a step above Subway.“

“My favorite subway! I go during lunch time & always have a sweet younger girl with blonde hair she is always SO kind! I’ve seen her during rushes more than once and she always is so respectful, efficient, and patient. As someone who used to work in fast food it’s much appreciated and definitely not the easiest sometimes.“
