“Attended a funeral at RJ Slaters funeral home, 12 of us went there between viewing times and had great service and the food order was done quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food and the people from Virginia never even seen a whole chicken wing. It was a great weather day and a few of us even walked the block to get there..“

“This is a nice venue with top quality music acts, very friendly employee's and very clean. There is a small parking lot and street parking. Very minimal noise level. They don't serve food but everyone goes to a place two doors down and brings it back. I highly recommend Moondogs!“

I went recently to see Sacred Monsters who were in town from Philly. It was the lead singer, KP’s birthday and we wanted to do something special for her. Long story short, Toy is amazing. Not only did she help with the surprise but she… on her own… ordered cupcakes for KP since I couldn’t find a cake that met her dietary restrictions. She was so helpful and enthusiastic about helping. I can’t wait to go back.“

Nicole and the staff are kind, responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to help make the night go just as planned. It's then a quick drive to all that San Diego has to offer; the Zoo, museums, beaches, and attractions. Great food is also all around. No need to eat at big chains when tiny spots are everywhere. One line to get into is Snooze, a breakfast eatery downtown. And don't forget to check out the local beer scene. “Just walking the lane after dinner and stopped in to browse. Surprise!! Great curated collection of beer/ale to go upstairs. Don't skip the tasting room downstairs. You can even take into the movie theater next door. Really like this joint.“

“This is a good place to have events. They have a decent bar selection and the prices are good. Food selection is ok and service is ok. Acoustics are good for sound for an event. Parking is generally readily available as well. The restrooms are not necessarily handicapped accessible.

“This place is a pretty decent dive bar. Absolutely no frills, shot and a beer kind of place. For those that are looking for somewhere that opens early, such as a third shift worker, they open at 7:00 a.m. smoking is not permitted as well. They also have a parking lot in the back of the building. Kind of off of the beaten path.“
