“I've been coming here for over 10 years and can't say enough, the draft list is always changing and offers a great selection for any craft beer advocate, top it off with the food that is alway on point, pizza and wings, this is the place, have to try to house sexy wing sauce! Finally the atmosphere small but welcoming, I feel like family after all these years. Glad to have somewhere like this so close to home!“

“Hillview tavern is awesome. I mean, it's not a lot of really young kids, so that's good for me. You get to play pool for free. The food is always on point. The bartender was amazing friendly, funny. We went Thanksgiving eve and yeah, we had a great time. I definitely go again and again. Love the bartender bartenders make it very friendly“

“Huge portion sizes, delicious food, great service, and I feel like I'm at the beach! I'll definitely keep coming back. Barefoot is definitely a hidden gem here in Gilpin. I've never had an issue with the service, and the staff is quick to keep your drinks filled. And I feel like I'm getting the best bang for my buck, in regards to the portions. I hope it continues, and I look forward to future trips.“

“My favorite dive bar/biker bar with 5 star food. Fall afternoons sitting on the porch with a drink in hand and taking in the magnificent view is not to be missed! The food is really good, especially the brisket hoagie. And listening to bartender Crystal and locals having a spirited discussion about Salina issues is the best entertainment around! Funny as hell and you don’t get charged for the comedy show! When we are looking for good food, good drinks, friendly people…just a fun time…we go to the Salina Inn.“
