“My biggest regret about our visit here is that it wasn't sooner. We've truly been missing out on some delightful food. I have yet to pass this place during business hours and not see them packed. Last night we had reservations at Versante for two for our anniversary. Jamie and Anna were our servers, and they were so friendly. They listened to our questions and made (excellent) suggestions. Initially, it took a little longer than expected for them to greet us, but it was a fairly busy Saturday night and that's to be expected. Not a dig, but be prepared to wait if needed... I promise you, it's worth it. We started with the tuna tartare, burrata salad and arugula salad. The tuna tasted fresh and the mango it was paired with was so refreshing. The burrata, prosciutto and red peppers was another great pairing- simple, clean, fresh and balanced with some arugula and olives. The arugula salad with orange vinaigrette made for a lovely palate cleanser between rich courses. My better half had the seafood pasta special and it looked incredible- homemade pasta with Chilean sea bass, scallops, shrimp in a lobster sauce... he looked like he was in heaven while he was enjoying that dish. I had the pappardelle bolognese, thinking it's a very simple dish... and while yes, it was simple, it was still outstanding and flavorful. You can tell a lot of thought (and love) went into these meals. Then there was dessert.... homemade cheesecake with a raspberry sauce, and homemade chocolate mousse cake. Both of them would be worth a trip back for on a whim.“

“This is the absolute best Italian restaurant I’ve ever eaten at! The food is delicious and succulent, the service is impeccable, the waitresses are very friendly and quick with taking your order! The bread, pasta, cakes, everything is homemade onsite and you can really taste it! They make new dishes constantly so it’s always a surprise! The take-out pizza is fantastic, you have to try their Sicilian and grandma style pizza too! My favorite dish is the crab ravioli, which has a very tasty sauce and loaded with delicious crab! The owners are awesome people who treat their employees like family, everyone always has a smile on their face! This is my favorite restaurant in Douglassville, I award it five stars!!“

“My husband and I both think they have the best chicken parm. I am obsessed with their penne pasta with vodka sauce!!! Sometimes I get the vodka sauce on my chicken parm as well. The lemon cake is a must have dessert! George and his team have Been working all through the pandemic making sure the community could count on them! So many restaurants ended up closing down and we are so glad that Piazza Presto was able to make it through. The food is always Fresh and delicious. Great place for a date night or with the family. It is BYOB which is nice since you can pack your own favorites and saves a lot too!“

“Our party of 6 dined last night. Michelle was our server. She was great- very attentive, drinks were always filled. Some stand-outs: Caesar salad was great, dressing is made in-house. Blackened chicken and shrimp were seasoned well. The creamy polenta is excellent. Salmon dish was prepared perfectly. The carrot cake dessert is excellent and the creme brulee is also very good. There’s plenty of space between the bar area, the lounge and the dining room. A gentleman (manager?) visited our table and made sure our order was just right. Great experience! “We came in on New Years Eve at 645pm. We did not realize they were closing at 7 but you would never know it. Absolutely courteous, helpful, and professional. This is the second time we have had the pleasure of their pizza and it fails to disappoint which is amazing. I don't know what they are doing to make it taste like that but OH MY GOD! Also, they made us a well done half cheese/half pepperoni pizza in 15 minutes. I mean damn son. Don't forget they were closing. Absolutely terrific. Then the ladies next door at Philly Pretzel gave us an entire gigantic party tray of pretzels for free. Just capped off the experience.“
