The room my wife and I stayed was very, very clean. I can tell that Bill and Thelma and very meticulous about keeping the whole Motel in great condition. I will be returning sometime. We also enjoyed fishing at Shawnee Lake.
On the way back to our B&B, we decided to stop at the Shawnee Country Market. In addition to being a full serve market, they offer a huge variety of desserts. I have never seen so many different flavors of soft serve ice cream. My husband decided on a medium cup of Chocolate. I had a small cone of Peanut Butter. There’s no where on Earth I feel more “at home” when traveling than at the Shawnee. It is clean, safe, and warm. I’m here for a week of vacation every year and it is a safehaven. The property - and you! - are personally and lovingly cared for by the kindest folks as part of their family. The area is also wonderful.
