“There’s no where on Earth I feel more “at home” when traveling than at the Shawnee. It is clean, safe, and warm. I’m here for a week of vacation every year and it is a safehaven. The property - and you! - are personally and lovingly cared for by the kindest folks as part of their family. The area is also wonderful. I wish I could give the Shawnee as many review stars as stars I can see in the sky from their property - a million. I can’t possibly more highly recommend that you and your loved ones visit the Shawnee.”

“The over head lights were to much ...I felt like I was in my grandmother's kitchen...wall sconces or even dimmers would have been better.That's the only reason I couldn't do 5 stars. The food was amazing my friend and I shared the crabby fries, yummy. The service was great considering there was only 1 server and the place was crowded. Good mix of people...families, couples, guys at the bar . A lady named Terry was the cook and her daughter ( I think) was the server. The place was packed and neither one got overwhelmed.Definitively be going back!Definitely worth the drive !!!”

“We were at the high school for a wrestling tournament and walked down to take a break. The atmosphere was super nice and cozy, service was good, and the drinks were delicious! I got the frozen HeBrews mocha, my sister got the frozen chai tea latte, and my mom got an iced green tea. We all tasted everything and loved it. Would definitely recommend.”

“So we tried the banana cream pie milkshake. That was a huge mistake. We wished we would’ve never tried it. When we go up 56 our trucks automatically pull into to get the crew milkshake’s every single time.”

“A short drive from the Bedford exit of Penna Turnpike. Located in an historic rustic building with a good variety of well prepared foods, from sandwiches and pizza to hearty entrees large enough to share. Our waitress was pleasant, helpful, and attentive.”

“Good home-cooked meals here. Definitely got the comfort foods like a breakfast bowl or biscuits and gravy. However, they do offer healthier options like parfaits and smoothies. Great prices and even had lattes or other espresso drinks!”

“The food was amazing. The flatbread pizzas are very delicious. The service was exceptional and the staff was very congenial and attentive to our needs. Bella Terra is a hometown gem and a great place to eat and socialize. When in the area my wife and I will always stop in to Bella Terra.”

“My friend and I had a delightful meal here. We loved the "Special" with a cup of soup and a small 1/2 sandwich and a 3 bite slice of pie. Just enough of each item to be satisfied. The owner was so sweet and the food was delicious. The place was decorated in a nice mix of everything. There is so much to look at with games and books. We could have stayed and chatted for hours! I am so glad that we stumbled into this little eatery and we will certainly return one day as Bedford Springs is a nice little town with a lot to do!”

“Small brewery with small bar sharing a space with local bike shop, "Fat Jimmys Outfitters" in Central PA. There are no food offerings however they offer food trucks. Beer is great, however Brewery lacks ambiance. The space is very limited sharing space with the bike shop. Hopefully a restaurant is in the works. Dog Friendly Brewery. The brewery has been open for 5 years. I like the "Not Your Average Joe" which tastes clean and refreshing. I've had the beer at Bella Terra Vineyards and at the Omni Bedford in "Tillie's at the Clubhouse". 4 % ABV”

“So much fun here for our late Christmas work party! The food and service were excellent, and the heated deck was still comfortable in the low teens windchill. I had the Reuben and sweet potato fries and tried the pretzel. Highly recommend!”

“Great food. Family liked the different choices. Ham egg and cheese croissant was very good. Chocolate chip muffin was large and tasty. White chocolate mocha was just right - not too sweet and not too bitter. Friendly staff as well!”

“We love to stop in to get subs at this Subway on Business 220 in Bedford. The ladies do a fantastic job making our subs. The subs are delicious! Everything is fresh. The Steak and Cheese sub and Spicy Italian sub are excellent. Just tried the brand new #7 MexiCali sub. It’s a must try if you like to try new subs on the menu. Everything looks very clean. Quick service. Always patiently waiting on us to decide. Service is always good.”

“I’m not from around here but stopping here made me wish I was. The prices weren’t bad, and neither was the pizza! I liked how thick and yeasty the crust was, even on the bottom of the pizza. Tasty cheese and lots of it! I wanted a couple slices of cheese-only, but they don’t do cheese by the slice. It’s ok because the guy behind the counter assured me the pepperoni (which they do sell by the slice) was only one round per slice, easy to work around. I was not misled; no problem. Spouse got the Stromboli, said it was pretty good too. Bathrooms clean, friendly service.”

“One of if not the nicest bar I have ever been too, The food is amazing and both the food and drinks are relatively cheap. It is very spacious inside and it is also one of the cleanest bars I have ever visited. The bartenders are friendly as are the fellow patrons.”

“This is for the food truck. Tasty BBQ! Excellent brisket, pulled pork, and tasty fries. They ordering was quick, but it took a bit ti wait for food. Friendly people, decebt prices on par with most BBQ joints.”

“I discovered this little pizza establishment( located inside the Wolfsburg sac shop) about six months ago and I gotta hand it to them, they make a great pizza. It’s best to get it fresh, but if you’re looking to grab a slice or two there is usually some in their little warmer thing. Just depends on what they put out. Excellent crust and the sauce is exceptional too. Highly recommend giving them a try”

“We have heard about Hoss's for years while visiting our family in the Pittsburgh area. However, we had never stopped at one until tonight on our way home to eastern PA. It was a surprise! I enjoyed the salad bar, which had all of my favorites and delicious homemade soups. I was excited to find beet eggs and applebutter! My husband had a sliced steak sandwich that he said was delicious. It was a great deal and I'm sure we'll be back.”

“Great location pretty building we had the Greek bowl it was plentiful and delicious. The lamb meatballs were very flavorful! I also had the tomato basil soup that was served piping hot and was very good. Soup came with what I believe were house made crackers. Had a good selection of vegetarian options. I would definitely eat here again even if I have to go a little out of my way to do so it was that good! Service you place order at counter and the food is brought out. Service was fast and food was hot!”

“My wife and I attended one of the chef tasting events, which are held every Fri & Sat night. The restaurant was set up with a "single" long table, reminiscent of some of the restaurants my wife and I have visited in Italy. The food was delicious and the portions sizes were filling. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the Bedford area.”

“Had a nice lunch here after getting some spa treatments next door. The food was pretty good, the portions were a nice size, and the service was excellent. I do wish they had a slightly larger menu options, but that could be a result of COVID. Overall a nice experience.”
