“I had bought some cookies for a gift. I put the order in online and told to pick up at a certain time. First i showed up right on time thinking they would be good to go. This was the first time I tried them. They were not ready when I got there. I was in a rush so that turned me off immediately. The cookies look beautiful and are designed pretty nice. For me. I am more of a simple cookie person. You put chocolate chips in and I'm good. However if you like that sort of thing I would say go for it. Just be prepared to wait a few extra minutes if you order online. It wouldn't be fair of me to say that all the frosting and extras aren't for me because most people like that.”

“Today, a friend and I had lunch here. While I am new to Indian cuisine, I knew I loved Bittoo’s Butter Chicken, but I always aim to try more and develop new tastes and experiences. The gentleman at the counter was BEYOND polite! He explained to me at my request the small street food items they had and helped me to pick things to try. He took the time to explain the ingredients to me and how it is prepared or served. After ordering we enjoyed ALL the food and a DELICIOUS dessert item. When looking for something new, you look for an experience like this, where someone takes the time to introduce you to things without judgement and with someone who cares about your experience and their cuisine and wants to share it. Came in for their Sunday Dinner, drinks where perfect, apps great, but let’s give the meatballs a moment…maybe the best the area has to offer…and there are some really good ones in town. Perfect size, perfectly soft, really excellent. Had the spaghetti it was spot on, just right. Finished the meal with lovely desserts and house made chocolates the whole meal made me happy :)”

The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art. Not to mention what Pat is doing with the outside patio…. it’s such an asset to Scranton and the sad thing is, no one knows it’s there! do yourself a favor, pass out DD and ⭐️ bucks for the BlackWatch Cafe Nay Aug Park in Scranton,PA!”

“We’ve utilized Black Cat Bakery for birthday cakes in the past, and each time they are absolutely stunning as well as delicious; but we were even more blown away by how absolutely perfect our wedding cake was this May. My husband and I were treated so well for our cake tasting in the months prior to the wedding, and the flavor combinations are as always, incredible. I trusted Madison to design a cake that matched our theme after choosing our flavors (this is HER art!), and she completely nailed it! It actually made me tear up how perfect it was. Our guests had nothing but compliments on both the design and flavor of our cake, and I’m already looking forward to eating it again for our first anniversary even if it risks being freezer burned 😆 You can tell that the staff here really loves what they do, and they put their hearts into their desserts and creations.
