“We went on a Saturday evening around 6:30 pm. We used the app to order, which was pretty difficult to get started. We got there about 5 minutes before our pick-up time, and got our food around 5 minutes past our pick-up time. The food was great! Hot and very good. We did not get drinks or shakes this time. We took advantage of their free cups of triple-filtered water.“

“Went there for the first time on a Saturday for dinner. Nice place with lots of options. Our server who was doubling as cook was super nice and answered all our questions and special requests. I got the Cranberry Poppins salad. It was fresh, delicious and very large. The rest of my party had the fish sandwich, the chicken tenders and fries and the Alcove Burger. Everyone liked their food. We left just as the band was setting up. Would definitely go back again.“

We had a newborn in the parking lot and had eaten out food in the car, so we were parked outside for a while (our baby then had thrown up so we were outside of the car cleaning up and such) and because of that a staff member came out and asked if we were okay which was really nice!“

“Not a huge review guy but felt compelled to give props to Matt and his team for executing wing orders on Super Bowl Sunday. I arrived a tad early for my pick up time not knowing what the crowd will be like. I assumed busy but not slammed. Well they were slammed. Matt communicated with everyone in line and while it wasn’t the exact pickup time stated, it was well within a time frame that wasn’t excessive. Hell, it’s super bowl Sunday and you are still in line for the best wings in Pittsburgh. Got the wings, drove home....the wings were cooked perfectly! Great job!“

“Wonderful atmosphere, workers and guests. Went for the .50 wings that were out of this world, crispy and seasoned well. 4 different flavors: ranch, mild buffalo, Emsworth sauce and hot barbecue. So yummy. Darrell the owner, came over to check on us a few times and was very kind and talkative. Ice cream sandwich was crazy good. I was expecting flavor fireworks, but it was more like a flavor fizzle. The avocado was the highlight though! The fries were fresh and tasty, and the house-made ranch? Chef’s kiss. The food was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and the service was on point, but what really made the difference was Alyssa, the manager. She is absolutely amazing. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and her team. Her energy, professionalism, and kindness make the whole place run smoothly and create a welcoming atmosphere. It’s rare to see someone take so much pride in their work, and it shows every time you walk in.

“I came in for a Door Dash. Dining room wasn't busy. But the drive thru was hopping. I asked for the order. An employee named Millie with cool hair told me the nuggets just went down. Offered me a drink. I waited another 90 seconds after getting my drink. Millie chatted the entire time. Very good employee. Deserves a raise. Employee of the month at least.“

“We went here on St. Patrick's Day (observed) Saturday. The were packed and the owner took such great care of us finding us a table and the making sure we had a table in the room with our friend's band playing, since he could tell that's where we wanted to be.

The menu was trimmed down a lot for the holiday, which makes sense. I'll have to go back when I can try the mac & cheese I saw on the normal menu.

Service was great - especially given how busy they were. The food was good and my drink was wonderful.
