“Dale has never been a "bar" person, but he loves SCI and all the fantastic staff. The owners, Troy & Christina will be there off & on to mingle with their guests & make them feel welcome. The food is fantastic beyond any others in area as it is "home cooked" for Specials. I had Lobster Bisque today for lunch with a special request & I have not had better ANYWHERE! You even beat Red Lobster!!”

“Server just brought us the drinks and food. We ordered onion rings and got no plates or silverware. We used napkins to use as a plate.cheesesteak tasted like a sloppy Joe on a roll. Not a good cheesesteak. Very disappointed.sauce way too sweet. Didn't taste any smoke.”

“I’m from NY, where good pizza (of all styles) can be found easily. This pizza is delicious and the best I’ve had in PA so far. Thin crust, light sauce, with an airy crust. We had pepperoni with mushrooms and sausage. Although the mushrooms were canned, they still had a good flavor. pepperoni and sausage were tasty.We also had the garlic knots which were delicious. They have just a small amount of garlic seasoning, which I liked. My boyfriend said they needed more garlic, so it depends on your preference. 12 decent sized knots in an order with plenty of sauce! Generous portions for the price.Only problem is, I can't find a menu anywhere to see what else there is to try here. We asked at the restaurant but they didn't have any. My boyfriend ended up just taking a picture of the menu wall. Other than that, it was excellent and I will be coming back anytime I want pizza.”

“Best tacos I ever eat. These are definitely not your Taco Bell tacos. If you want a true Mexican taco this is the place. Made to order, meat was seasoned perfectly. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.”

“Ah man! Everything was wonderful. Curried goat, rice and peas, plantains. I should have gotten a to go box for the leftovers, but I ate the whole thing! Plus I tasted my partner's meal too. Cole slaw, mac and cheese and fried chicken. All very good.”

“4/27/2025 Earl Bancroft, blue cooler, I had 3 meals the last three evenings while attending spring Carlisle. Each meal was very good and an outstanding value. These folks prep and cook with fresh ingredients as if they are feeding family! The fact that they allow carry in beer/wine didn’t hurt either. Don’t miss out, give this place a try!!”

“was hesitant at first but we went on a whim. their sushi is top notch. so amazing. even their rainbow roll blew us away. so fresh and a delicate sweet flavor. we suspect the Carlisle roll will be our favorite! their yakisoba was really good too. can't wait to go back and try more of the dishes!!!! this will be our new fav sushi place in town”

“We got the pesto gnocchi, the supreme pizza, and the tiramisu. Everything was amazing. Perfect texture on the pizza crust, high quality ingredients, friendly staff, great music, nice ambiance. Perfect date spot, definitely authentic Italian food. You can tell that everything is made with great care. We can’t wait to come back and try all the sandwiches. Truly love this place.”

“Ordered take out for 4 adults on Saturday evening. First time we ordered food from this establishment but we checked other reviews and decided to give it a try. . Excellent. We ordered a couple of some evening specials: 1/2 Rack of ribs with chicken and 2 sides; another night special, pork and kraut with mashed as side. I might add if those mashed were not home made, I want the name of them--delicious, others ordered a cheesesteak sub. and the roll was absolutely delicious., with onions and peppers, fries and also another of mozz sticks with marinara, plain cheeseburger and fries. Everything was delicious and order perfect and they said only 15-20 time for pick up. The only thing that could have been better is if the pork and kraut meal and the rib & chicken meal came with dinner rolls or garlic bread. But no biggie. Would highly recommend and the 4 adults who ordered for this meal have all said will definitely go back. Great Job Mays!!!”

“Today my daughter and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch at One 13 Social in downtown Carlisle. Small plates are elegant and perfect for lunch. Mine was Spoonbread Shrimp, extraordinarily creative flavors : salty olive tapanade, savory grilled shrimp, and sweet cornbread with honey butter. New to their terrific menu, hope it stays!! I tip my hat to the chef.”

“Okay, we might have a problem… we’ve been coming to Marcello's for a few years and always eat in the dining room and order their delicious Italian food, but we’d never tried their pizza. Last week we had their pizza for the first time and we are now having it for the third time in a week. It’s a problem! This white pizza… 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 They gave us these funnel fries and we’re weak in the knees. Cant recommend this place enough. My favorite part is that every time we come in we feel like family. Our new fav! 🍕”
