“I eat here once a month - it’s where I go to relax. It’s down-to-earth and free of any pretentiousness. While the menu is basic, I’ve never been disappointed with the food. It’s always piping hot and tasty. They always have a real ale and a local ale on tap which I like. My only grumble is it’s hard to see the canned beer in the fridge: they really need a printed list.“

“Was questioning eating here based on Yelp reviews, but MAN am I glad we tried it! I had the crab legs and fries and my husband had the fish and chips. The fries were probably the best I’ve ever had! I have never had hand cut fries that were actually crispy all the way through. Delicious place to eat! Would DEFINITELY recommend!“

“Ballocity is a fun place to take kids to be out of the weather. The toddler zone stuff is partially too high for toddlers (the ball tubes) which was a disappointment. But the rest is great and a good way to spend the day. I took kids aged 1 to 11“
