“I give the food 4 stars because I always test each Chinese restaurant for their General Tso’s chicken dish. If the chicken is not crispy, then the sauce and the chicken should’ve been presented separately even if it’s takeout. No one in PA has survived that test yet. Also, there should be a tang from the vinegar that stands out and again no one in PA has reached that level.However, based on the taste and experience of the local residence, this is a five star to them. So I see both sides. However, if you are well traveled, this is a three star restaurant regarding their food.Parking: They are usually parking spots to park at, but may have to park further down the street during peak hours.“

“Well above the "standard" Chinese restaurant. I always love the variety of food here. They can usually satisfy whatever craving I'm having. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the variety too.“

“Wish I took a picture, but I was too hungry to think of it. I got the Deluxe Rainbow roll, and hubby got lunch special General Tso’s chicken. Food. Was. Amazing! The sauce for the chicken is different than what we’re used to and was pleasantly surprised. It was really good, and the fish was so fresh and melted like butter. Definitely 5 stars and would love to go back!“

“I've lived several places and you always need that local hole in the wall Chinese take out place. After trying a few after moving to Jim Thorpe, China Ming is not only the best in the area but one of the best I've ever had. The menu is standard but the food quality is just exceptional. I don't know what they do differently, slightly different recipes or fresher ingredients but it's far and above other places. It's become a regular go to on nights no one feels like cooking.Vegetarian options: The tofu that comes with the General Tso's tofu is something very special!! It's amazing.“

“Food is really good and fresh. It’s one of those mom and pop Chinese food restaurants. The establishment itself could use a remodeling. But I honestly don’t care about how the place looks to over how great the food tastes. I will definitely be ordering from here again.“

“When they say the food is ready in 25 minutes, they mean it. Hot, fresh and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS food!! We drive from Allentown to Northampton for our Chinese food because they are simply the best!! I had chicken w broccoli, my wife had sweet and sour chicken. Sauces were flavored perfectly. Crab Rangoons were made perfectly. Boneless bbq spare ribs were INCREDIBLE.“

“We have ordered here before and it was mediocre at best. But recently we gave them another try and they hit it out of the park and we were pleasantly surprised. My guess is they may have a new chef as everything we ordered was prepared differently. I highly reccommend giving them a try and tasting it for yourself. Very kind staff. We ordered take out and many different dishes.Beef with scallions was a winner as well as the singapore style mei fun.But all of what we ordered was top notch. They also serve excellent spare ribs. I am very happy that they have stepped up their culinary game. I wish them much success!“
