“Absolutely sensational cheesesteak from Davinci’s Pizzeria in Whitehall. The meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The house sliced Cooper Cheese 🧀 was generously applied, as well as perfectly fried onions. The sandwich came together in Harmony on a seeded Liscio's Bakery submarine roll. You may have it toasted, which I believe is their standard or untoasted. I asked for an untoasted roll, and it was fresh as can be. Janis, who runs the show here, was an absolute delight! She answered a few questions I had with integrity and a smile. We talked about Allentown’s 6th Ward and we know some of the same people. She provided me a sample of their house made fries and house dipping sauce. The dipping sauce recipe wasn’t divulged, and for good reason! The fries are cut similar to a Frito Scoop, which is great for the dipping sauce! The cheesesteak was well above average, in my opinion. This steak is in the discussion for me with the elite shops in the area. The top photo is fresh at the shop. Bottom photo is after is was wrapped and brought home. I highly recommend Davinci’s. “We were driving through Palmerton and noticed Papa Al's. My family and I decided to stop and give this restaurant a try and we are so glad that we did. We ordered calamari and bruschetta as an appetizer, Chicken Alfredo, Veal Parmigiana, & Gnocchi Bellan for dinner and I am in awe from how delicious and tasty our meals were. The veal parmigiana is huge! It covered the entire plate. My husband is a veal fanatic and said this was the best and most tender veal he has eaten. If I lived in the area, I'd be in debt with how often I would be at Papa Al's. Run don't walk if you have never eaten at this establishment.“

“Sunny's pizza is that local pizza place you fondly remember from your childhood. The food is consistently good, the staff is always friendly, and they hustle to make sure you get your food asap. I've been eating there for decades (they moved locations a few years back, but it was literally just across the street) and they've kept the same quality and positive experience the whole time.“

“My wife and I wanted to get on the motorcycle and take a ride to get some pizza. We picked Mario’s (we’re from the Brodheadsville area). As soon as we walked in the staff was friendly and answered our questions. We just orders 4 slices and some garlic knots. The pizza was fantastic and the dipping sauce for the knots was great!! We can’t wait to try it again!!“
