“Dale’s is definitely our go to local place for great food and drinks! Always have good service also! We had a surprise 21st birthday party for my daughter on the enclosed patio and it was perfect! Ashley worked with us to come up with food ideas and helped with whatever we needed! Highly recommend Dales to eat or to host a small gathering!“

“This restaurant is local to us and I've probably passed it literally 1000 times driving around since I was 16 and never stopped for a snack or a meal so, I took my mother here for her 83rd birthday last week and will definitely be back...Perfectly cooked and presented food and exemplary service is the key here... The interior definitely gives you the 70's vibe but, you're not going here to eat the decorations right ???I definitely suggest to get there early because at 8pm (They close at 9pm) they were out of the Lobster Special and the soup of the day which was Lobster Bisque...I had a perfectly cooked Blackened Ahi Tuna that I very much enjoyed and my mom had the Chicken Parmesan which was perfectly prepared as well...I'm probably gonna go back this weekend for a quick sammich/snack on the fly because the first experience was just really good...Overall, I'd absolutely recommend this place anytime you're feeling a bit hungry and don't feel like cooking ???“

“Home town small business. CASH only, they do have an ATM if you need.This place feels like old times, better times. Not modern in any sense of the word, but very welcoming. If you're offended easily, this is not the establishment for you.Ham BBQ sandwich was delicious and filling. The side of fries were an actual side, not overflowing to make up for poor food quality.Wait staff was pleasant and accommodating. I will be coming back.My only critique, the floor cleanliness needs to be improved. I didn't notice until going towards the restroom that the tiles could be ivory white or better. There's a section of high traffic carpet that needs cleaned, as well.

“Enjoyed an evening here for the 55th reunion of the BVA class of 1968. The setting was very nice for the some 70 classmates and guests. The buffet dinner was one of the best I have eaten with plenty of great food. The two servers did wonders filling plates and seeing to the needs of all. I understood the establishment worked well with the event organizers. I would not hesitate to attend another function here again.“

“Absolutely Amazing courses but what makes this place great is the staff, from the girls behind the counter, grounds crew and starters and marshals the people make this course what it is. Some of the friendliest most accommodating people I’ve ever encountered and definitely at a golf course. My brother and I drove from Ohio a day early to the US open to play both courses but were way earlier than expected not only did they get us off on the woodside early so we weren’t waiting a few hours they found a break in the tee sheet to let us off on the lakeside early too! On top of that every interaction we had with staff was always met with a smile I recommend this course to anyone very fun layout great condition challenging and fair holes I can’t say enough good about this place!“

“The service was fantastic! She was friendly, efficient, and patient with our table. I guess we picked the wrong day for a big group. It was their wing night. It was very busy. They had us sitting in front of the fireplace, which was very hot, and we were really crammed at our table. The appetizers were delicious, but my main course was a bit bland. I had the fettuccine with vodka sauce. It tasted much better as a leftover with garlic powder and parmesan cheese over it.“

The servers are very upbeat. Atmosphere makes for great dining.

“For a small roadside bar the food is really really great! I'm a wings snob and the wings here check ALL my boxes! Friends also enjoyed the burgers. We have been twice and service was great. Last night there was one bartender and live music so it wasn't slow, but the bartender (sadly, I didn't get her name) was ON TOP OF IT! We NEVER waited for a refill and she often checked in on our large group to make sure we had all we needed. We WILL be back!“

“Well, technically this is not a separate restaurant from Denny's. It's predominantly a curated and slightly different menu for the DoorDash/GrubHub/insert-food-delivery-service-here crowd. That said, I haven't had a single negative thing to say. The staff that preps and serves the meals at this Denny's location are the same great staff I enjoy when I go there. Good food, reasonable prices, and smooth service.“

“I knew I was in for somethin special when I walked up into their parkin' field and saw small rocks gravellin it up all fancy like. This upscale establishment had walls from floor to ceiling on all sides. It even had not one, but two doors to go through. And get this, they on the hinges! Wow. But that's nothing compared to what I discovered entering the final door... the floor... i thought they forgot to put da sawdust down and Id be walking on raw dirt, naw, naw, it was better than saw dust. You ever hear of fellers puttin down wood across an entire floor? That must have taken a lot of dedicated non drinkers a lot of time. It nearly brought a tear to my eye to know they cared enough for me to spend all that time for me. I went to look up to the Heavens and thank God, but I couldn't see a cloud in sight. You know that dang place had a roof on it? And not any normal roof, a roof without a hole in it? Well I forgot what happened next, but I woke up in a ditch, pulled out my phone and wrote this review. I'm not sure if it was real or some kind of dream, but if I can find my way back to the country, where all the people want to be nice to everyone(like everyone everyone should learn to be nice to each other) , I'd walk right back in. “My boyfriend and I stopped in for our last lunch until he gets back in a month as an otr truck driver. I googled restaurants near the Smithton truck stop and I was not disappointed. The food was awesome and the service even better!! We left full and happy. Needless to say we will be back!!!“

“My self and my neighbor go there for breakfast the service is primo the food is good but not always some times the bacon is over cooked and they have one waitress that is very load when she talks but all in all pretty ok“

“My husband and I stopped in for a late (10pm) dinner after a highschool football game tonight. Upon entering is was clear, like many restaurants and businesses, they were short staffed. They were also super busy, with many larger parties of students, families etc. The very nice girl checking people out as we walked in, told us to find a seat and she would be right w us. She was right w us, she took our drink order, gave us menus and silverware and went to take care of some other guests. She came back, took our orders, kept the drinks coming and checked in on us several times. I also overheard her checking in w the kitchen on a few of our items, all the time keeping a kind and respectful tone of voice. I also observed that Dennys probably had a very busy evening, based on the at the atmosphere in general. However the entire time we were there, I never heard an employee complain or sigh or be disrespectful of each other or to any of the patrons. Everyone especially our waitress, spoke in a kind, mannerly tone and worked as a team. I was very impressed, as these were clearly the younger staff members, wrapping up the closing shift. They kept busy setting up and refilling things for the next day, kept cleaning up and hustling around. I made sure to personally tell the manager, Wayne I believe, as who knows who may or may not see a review. I think it was commendable that the staff worked together and didnt let the stress of a busy shift overwhelm them or affect good customer service. Thanks to all!! Especially, our server, Savannha, and Amanda, Caitlin, Lily and Becca... and the kitchen staff!“
