“If you want better fresh cut fries than Kennywood, Bar 48 is it. Their wings and ranch are top notch; it’s the only place I order wings from. Their owner Katelyn does an amazing job of planning many fun events and her personality brings people together!“

“We needed a place that had power during the wind storm to feed our kids and actually called asking if they had a kids menu they said yes and even told us what was on it over the phone. We ended up going the kids got chicken, fries and applesauce. Husband and I got salmon and swordfish both vary good, the bread was good,my salad was good husband said the house dressing was a little strong but still good. The waitresses were all great and super friendly. Even the customers were all friendly. The place is a little pricey though so be prepared but worth it for the price, the amount of food and the service. We'll be back!“

“On Sunday we had an In house catered party for dinner and it was excellent! The food was topnotch and the service was great! Special shout out to our server, Bram (Brahm). He was efficient, kind, and organized. From the drinks served before, to the food, then the cake,and packing us up to go, he did it all with a little help by Samantha. There was not one complaint from our party of 20. Thanks so much to all! All I can add is yum!!“

“Pepitos is a very unique blend of American and Peruvian food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I went with some friends who got some of the burgers, and I tried the big boy sandwich. Prices are very reasonable as the sandwiches are massive and come with a big side of bacon cheese fries. The burgers were big enough to be split into 2 meals, and my big boy sandwich was big enough for 4 meals easily. Everyone enjoyed their food, and many of the sandwiches were unlike anything I’ve ever had in a good way. All the ingredients complimented each other. I’ll definitely be back to try some a burger or hot dog next time.“

“Enjoyed an evening here for the 55th reunion of the BVA class of 1968. The setting was very nice for the some 70 classmates and guests. The buffet dinner was one of the best I have eaten with plenty of great food. The two servers did wonders filling plates and seeing to the needs of all. I understood the establishment worked well with the event organizers. I would not hesitate to attend another function here again.“

They were delicious. The biscuits were good. The baked potato was done well. All of the staff were friendly . It’s worth a return visit to try the Salmon Bowl or maybe the flounder.“

After the casino, a concert, and a couple hungover nights we were hankering for some breakfast diner comfort food before the 5 hour drive home. We scouted a few local antique shops and stumbled upon this place searching for quick food nearby…boy am I GLAD WE DID! We walk in and grab a booth seat, an employee’s children are playing on their iPads and singing next to us. Everyone enjoying a late Saturday coffee and hearty breakfast. I had the 2 eggs, meat, potatoes, and toast special. My girlfriend had the western omelette and Texas toast. Everything was amazing!!!!(imagine Waffle House but you’ve got the worst hangover ever and your Nana sprinkles a little extra love in there) The bacon is the greatest thing I’ve ever put in my mouth.point.blank.period. The potatoes are exactly how my grandmother chopped and smashed them when she friend them in the cast iron skillet. My girlfriend’s western omelette was exactly how it should be, fluffy bright yellow egg with tons of flavor aided by salt and pepper to your liking and cooked yet firm produce mixed even throughout.
