“If you want better fresh cut fries than Kennywood, Bar 48 is it. Their wings and ranch are top notch; it’s the only place I order wings from. Their owner Katelyn does an amazing job of planning many fun events and her personality brings people together!“

“We needed a place that had power during the wind storm to feed our kids and actually called asking if they had a kids menu they said yes and even told us what was on it over the phone. We ended up going the kids got chicken, fries and applesauce. Husband and I got salmon and swordfish both vary good, the bread was good,my salad was good husband said the house dressing was a little strong but still good. The waitresses were all great and super friendly. Even the customers were all friendly. The place is a little pricey though so be prepared but worth it for the price, the amount of food and the service. We'll be back!“

“I absolutely LOVE going to Wagner's! The food is delicious, the coffee is hot & tastes great and the staff is so welcoming and pleasant. If going, make sure you get the Home fries with Peppers & Onions. You'll thank me for it! I don't understand why they are not open for dinner too. I would certainly go there for dinner a lot!!!! “On Sunday we had an In house catered party for dinner and it was excellent! The food was topnotch and the service was great! Special shout out to our server, Bram (Brahm). He was efficient, kind, and organized. From the drinks served before, to the food, then the cake,and packing us up to go, he did it all with a little help by Samantha. “Stopped here on our way through Monongehela. My husband had the cheese burger and d fries and really enjoyed it. I cannot eat gluten and very rarely find a place that can accommodate me. I had kolbassi with no bun, coleslaw, and they cooked my fries in a separate fryer. Everything was very good!“

“I booked their banquet room for a combo birthday party for my daughter and husband and everything was great!!! They let us show up hours early to decorate and the food was amazing. The best part was our server/bartender though. She was so busy taking care of the whole party and never once looked overwhelmed or flustered. “This place is such a gem! My fiance and I drive 35 minutes here for the food, best breaded zucchini in Pittsburgh hands down, best nachos, and the flatbreads are amazing. The staff are always so kind and the atmosphere is great for a date night or a family night! 10/10 recommend this one for sure.“

Excellent menu with quality products and tastes for a very fair price.
They have 20 beers on tap, and probably an equal amount of cocktails to choose from the menu.
We had the Guinness French dip; melts in your mouth tender beef, reminiscent of a slow cooked pot roast. The flavored or regular fries pares well with this.
Also left with a homemade Tiramasu to take home; fabulous dessert selection!“

“Big portions, home cooked food. We go once every few months and I've never had a meal I didn't like. The French onion soup and the pecan balls are my favorites. Their pizza crust is probably the only thing I avoid; it's not bad, but it's not good.“

“Enjoyed an evening here for the 55th reunion of the BVA class of 1968. The setting was very nice for the some 70 classmates and guests. The buffet dinner was one of the best I have eaten with plenty of great food. The two servers did wonders filling plates and seeing to the needs of all. I understood the establishment worked well with the event organizers. I would not hesitate to attend another function here again.“

After the casino, a concert, and a couple hungover nights we were hankering for some breakfast diner comfort food before the 5 hour drive home. We scouted a few local antique shops and stumbled upon this place searching for quick food nearby…boy am I GLAD WE DID! We walk in and grab a booth seat, an employee’s children are playing on their iPads and singing next to us. Everyone enjoying a late Saturday coffee and hearty breakfast. I had the 2 eggs, meat, potatoes, and toast special. My girlfriend had the western omelette and Texas toast. Everything was amazing!!!!(imagine Waffle House but you’ve got the worst hangover ever and your Nana sprinkles a little extra love in there) The bacon is the greatest thing I’ve ever put in my mouth.point.blank.period. The potatoes are exactly how my grandmother chopped and smashed them when she friend them in the cast iron skillet. My girlfriend’s western omelette was exactly how it should be, fluffy bright yellow egg with tons of flavor aided by salt and pepper to your liking and cooked yet firm produce mixed even throughout. AMERICA PLEASE KEEP THESE TREASURES ALIVE!!!!WE NEED THEM!!!!“
