“If you want better fresh cut fries than Kennywood, Bar 48 is it. Their wings and ranch are top notch; it’s the only place I order wings from. Their owner Katelyn does an amazing job of planning many fun events and her personality brings people together!“

“Had a wonderful weekend at the John Butler B&B. Cozy house in a safe area. Quite and peaceful. All the staff we met at the restaurants were friendly. Everything was clean and as described. We definitely are adding this to our list of places to return to.“

“We needed a place that had power during the wind storm to feed our kids and actually called asking if they had a kids menu they said yes and even told us what was on it over the phone. We ended up going the kids got chicken, fries and applesauce. Husband and I got salmon and swordfish both vary good, the bread was good,my salad was good husband said the house dressing was a little strong but still good. The waitresses were all great and super friendly. Even the customers were all friendly. The place is a little pricey though so be prepared but worth it for the price, the amount of food and the service. We'll be back!“

“I absolutely LOVE going to Wagner's! The food is delicious, the coffee is hot & tastes great and the staff is so welcoming and pleasant. If going, make sure you get the Home fries with Peppers & Onions. You'll thank me for it! I don't understand why they are not open for dinner too. I would certainly go there for dinner a lot!!!! This restaurant is a must try!!!!“

“The service was fantastic! She was friendly, efficient, and patient with our table. I guess we picked the wrong day for a big group. It was their wing night. It was very busy. They had us sitting in front of the fireplace, which was very hot, and we were really crammed at our table. The appetizers were delicious, but my main course was a bit bland. I had the fettuccine with vodka sauce. It tasted much better as a leftover with garlic powder and parmesan cheese over it.“

“Stopped here on our way through Monongehela. My husband had the cheese burger and d fries and really enjoyed it. I cannot eat gluten and very rarely find a place that can accommodate me. I had kolbassi with no bun, coleslaw, and they cooked my fries in a separate fryer. Everything was very good!“

“Home town small business. CASH only, they do have an ATM if you need.This place feels like old times, better times. Not modern in any sense of the word, but very welcoming. If you're offended easily, this is not the establishment for you.Ham BBQ sandwich was delicious and filling. The side of fries were an actual side, not overflowing to make up for poor food quality.Wait staff was pleasant and accommodating. I will be coming back.My only critique, the floor cleanliness needs to be improved. I didn't notice until going towards the restroom that the tiles could be ivory white or better. There's a section of high traffic carpet that needs cleaned, as well.

“Enjoyed an evening here for the 55th reunion of the BVA class of 1968. The setting was very nice for the some 70 classmates and guests. The buffet dinner was one of the best I have eaten with plenty of great food. The two servers did wonders filling plates and seeing to the needs of all. I understood the establishment worked well with the event organizers. I would not hesitate to attend another function here again.“

“This was our first time here and the breakfast/lunch bar was open. it was phenominal. great quality of food, tons of choices in buffet style containers to keep it hot. Everything from made to order omlettes, waffles, sausage, salad, pot roast, mashed potatoes, tender breakfast potatoes. my husband said it was the best omlette he has ever had. he had the Irish Omlette. We usually ask for the back near a window mainly because Sharon King serves this area she is always so happy and even when we we sometimes bring the granddaughter goes out of her way to make sure we have everything we need!“
