“This is a great place for ice cream. It’s right across the street from Renzie Park. Nice place to stop after a walk , a ball game or one of the Sunday night concerts in the summer.They also have a small convenience store.
They have a variety of treats on their menu, soft serve, sundaes, milkshakes and Perry’s ice cream. They also serve hot food , burgers,Nathan‘s hotdogs.
The owner and the staff are always friendly and glad to see you. It’s definitely a place we stop at often through the summer.“

“I almost was born in the back booth here 70 yrs and 7 months ago. It's was good to come home to THE MCKEESPORT EAT N PARK ON LYSLE BOULEVARD, minutes from Kennywood Amustment Park and hopefully re-establish residence in a lovely little city in Western Penndylvania.“

The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!“

Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! “My sister, her husband, my husband and I went to R-Place last night. I haven't been there in many years and my sister was never there. We had the Lasagna special and my husband had their pierogis. Everythjng was delicious! If you want homemade pierogis, R-Place has the BEST! The potatoes and cheese are full of cheese. The potatoes are orange with all the cheese. We will be back! “Stopped here on our way through Monongehela. My husband had the cheese burger and d fries and really enjoyed it. I cannot eat gluten and very rarely find a place that can accommodate me. I had kolbassi with no bun, coleslaw, and they cooked my fries in a separate fryer. Everything was very good!“

“This place is such a gem! My fiance and I drive 35 minutes here for the food, best breaded zucchini in Pittsburgh hands down, best nachos, and the flatbreads are amazing. “Bloom brew is a local brewery. They make a large variety of very good beers. I have been going here since 2013. They have recently expanded and have a new bar/ food menu. There is a lot of room inside and out. It is great in the summertime beside the river. They make their own pizza in house. I have not tried it yet but I will update when I do. A great place to go after the bike trail. It is right across the river from the bike trail.“
