“We were at a McKeesport baseball tournament at a field that was closer to walk to today than the "main" concession stand. We ordered some hot food and cold items, and the only thing that nobody thought was great was the blue raspberry slushie. Considering the length of the line, service was efficient and definitely friendly! After our 2nd game, our team's coach treated the players to ice cream here. There were only 2 people working (because of call-offs), but the wait wasn't bad concidering that). My oldest daughter and I wanted onion rings, but were at first told they weren't cooking anymore. HOWEVER, the manager/owner did end up selling us onion rings ❤ and they were yummy! Thank you all for your hard work (filling orders and making customers happy) as well as delivering to the field across the street for McKeesport's tournaments! ?“

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)“

“I had their vanilla ice-cream. It was rich and flavorful! Had a nice chat with the owner and he informed us that many of the ingredients and milk are sourced from local farmers and helps support our area which is great. Had a friend with me who said he’d love to try but he is lactose intolerant and it turned out they also had dairy free options. Definitely recommend!“

“Found this place when our other favorite ice cream place went out of business. What a jewel out in Bloomfield. They have a vast selection of different flavors and can do whatever you like. The service was great. It's easy to find. They are located in the middle of the block on the main strip so parking may be challenging. The posted hours are 10p close but we were told that its actually 10.30p. This was on a Saturday night in August. Give them a try!!!“

“This newly opened spot in Oakland has a great atmosphere! I love that they come up with new flavors every month, keeping things exciting. The fact that it’s run by nurses and offers a healthcare worker discount makes it even more special. The chocolate was incredibly rich and delicious. Definitely a must-visit!“

“No seating anywhere but Rita's is great just standing around eating on a hot day.

I always get the gelati. Normally it's 50% italian ice and 50% frozen custard but I treat the ice like a topping and ask for 80% custard and only 20% ice. It's awesome they always get the ratio right. Mango is the best ice flavor. Can't go wrong with it.

Parking is rough here. Always have to park 3 streets away. Just be prepared to walk a little.“

It’s as if saffron, rose water, and pistachio had a magical ice cream baby, and it tastes like heaven itself got a sweet tooth. “Great view of the river and so close to the zoo! Only soft serve ice cream, milkshakes, and other ice cream options at the moment. The ice cream is really good though! No food like burgers or hot dogs at the time of writing this. Clean tables and good customer service. Good portions for price.
