“Yummy! While on our June summer road trip with our kids, we were in the mood for something sweet and decided to try out The Meadows for their famous custard. We were not disappointed! The building is very welcoming from the outside. All painted with ice cream cones and Adirondack chairs sitting around. In the front, you have tables where you can sit outside and enjoy the air. Inside you have tables and chairs in a brightly painted, cheerful room. There is also a life-size connect 4 game where the kids can play. My son and I enjoyed a game while eating our custard. It was a busy day, but the workers did great. They were very friendly. We all went for the original vanilla and we’re very impressed. I loved my waffle cone! It was a very hot day and these definitely hit the spot! Highly recommend! Good for kids! Boosters and high chairs available. *Wheelchair accessible entrance, seating, parking lot and restroom. Offers eat in, take out that you can get through the drive-through window or the walk up window and delivery. Credit and debit cards accepted.“

The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.“

I dreamt about another one throughout the whole winter until I was able to enjoy another one the other day now that they’re reopened for the season. HANDS DOWN the best ice cream treat you will get your hands on. Most icecream places seem to skimp on toppings/candy etc..NOT Al’s!!! Now, with a name like that, I was fully expecting to find some good old-fashioned square dancing, but wouldn't you know it? We stumbled right onto a shop called Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. I started wondering just who this Jeni gal was and what kind of magic she was churning up. Well, curiosity killed the cat, but it sent this mama straight into the longest line I’ve seen since the Great State Fair! It was stretched out further than a Utah wild wild west, but we stuck it out. I didn't see the lady herself, but the folks behind the counter were sweet as pie. They let me try a lick of that Birthday Cake flavor. It didn't taste much like a cake I’d bake, but it sure was life changing. I settled on a scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip—a total classic. Lord have mercy, that ice cream was so fresh I’d bet my bottom dollar they have a prize-winning cow tucked away in the back room! One bite and I felt my old joints just snap, crackle, and pop right back into place. But let me tell you the real gospel truth: I’ve been struggling with my memory and that awful Alzheimer’s for a good while now, but after one taste of Jeni's, it was like the clouds parted and my mind cleared right up! My now husband and I both LOVE ice cream and when we decided that's what we wanted to have for our special day I knew Leonas was the choice. We got to pick from SO many of their delicious seasonal flavors - narrowing it down was the hardest part! They were SO detailed and thorough in helping me ensure the sandwiches were served appropriately. All of our guests RAVED about how perfect the ice cream was for the day and how delicious they were. It was a hilarious bonus that the pre-wrapped treats were much more portable than a slice of cake - MANY of them made it out onto the dance floor! Couldn't recommend them more as a DELICIOUS and super fun addition to any event.“

They have many different types of ice cream and they always give you way more ice cream then you pay for. The service is great and they are very patient when you are picking your flavor and toppings. “These were honestly, unexpectedly amazing. The place has both waffles and ice cream, as well as a few other items and different combinations of the two. I decided to get the Antwerp with Nutella ice cream.

It was just stellar. The waffles here are not the typical soggy grocery store ones. No, they are made in house and are liege waffles. So, more chewy and sugary with bits of crunch at the edges.

The ice cream is also so so good. Super creamy. A pretty nice amount of Nutella flavor (could always be stronger though). Just really good and a really fair portion. When the two are paired together, it’s just exquisite.“
