“the ice cream is delicious but I've learned the hard way that you need to ask for extra extra stuff in your cyclone. just grabbed my first one of the year and it quite literally had 4 chunks of reeses cup in it...me and my 6 year old counted after my first like 10 bites were nothing but ice cream. so it was basically a big cup of chocolate ice cream which was disappointing. I'll remember to ask for plenty of extra next time. otherwise, delicious options!“

“Came here today 3-26-24, on a bad rainy day I got a hot chai tea. Probably the best I've ever had. Caution it's super hot drink slow but makes it easier to enjoy lol. Nice foam on the top pretty color, sweet, nice spice. Was 4.50 for a 12oz which for how good it is they could easily raise it another 1.00. Definitely recommend and will be back!!!!“

“Big thing here for the non-locals - CASH ONLY !The owner is one of the most down to earth people you'll meet. All the ice cream here is lovely, haven't had one bad thing here. There is no hard serve ice cream, but you can figure that out based on doing basic research. The place is exactly how you see it as well, right off of 5th avenue, so if there is a massive line you'll wait and like it!There usually isn't ever a large line and there is shaded seating on the left side of the building. They have blizzards, cones, sundaes, milkshakes and slushies, so there is more than enough to choose from. Does not hold back on hooking you up, and the price is cheaper than DQ“

“Stopped by for first time. The owner was very friendly. The shop was very clean! I had maple bourbon pecan and blueberry balsamic. Tasted like a blueberry waffle!!! I had stopped in today to take advantage of the limited time offer to get the Tres Leches cake before it would be discontinued after this week. “Flavors change often. I've come several times and always see something different. I personally love getting the Extreme, which is their version of a DQ blizzard. You can choose what base from any of the available flavors that day and add toppings!! Usually most places do vanilla as the base.Previously, I got an Extreme with a Butter Pecan base mixed with Oreo and cookie dough pieces. That was unusual and tasty, but I also highly recommend adding their new brownie cookie dough bites! That really adds something extra. Last time, I got an Extreme with vanilla ice cream mixed with Oreo, cookie dough, and brownie dough bites. Definitely yummy. Overall, I definitely keep coming back.Also it's cash only! You’d think they’re closing and trying to give away all their toppings, easily crumpled 2 to 4 Reese‘s peanut butter cups in my small and medium size cup of ice cream, huge, serving of whipped cream and two cherries. “Went for the first time tonight. Service was fast and friendly.Del's serves Perry's Ice Cream, which I grew up eating in Erie, PA. It is awesome ice cream and harder to find in Pittsburgh. On top of that there are many "ice cream parlor only" flavors that you can't buy in the grocery store anywhere.Husband got 3 scoops, and I got the ice cream nachos. Ice cream nachos come with 2 scoops, waffle cone "nachos" and 2 toppings. Both of the things we got seemed like a great deal. As a major ice cream - especially cookie dough - fan I can't recommend this place enough. I would absolutely drive out of my way to come here again vs. Dairy Queen and other independent places.“

“I recently moved back to the area after 35+ years and was happy to see Dell's! My elderly father loves his ice cream and milkshakes and I was thrilled to stop at Dell's for him. Dad got a milkshakes and I got an arctic swirl. Not your bland tasteless machine ice-cream at all. Just good old fashioned real ice-cream at reasonable prices. And what a selection! “This place is so eclectic. It is a FULL VIBE! I love everything about it! The service is impeccable!! FISH TACOs are absolutely delicious! Most of all the tacos have the same ingredients in them. The shrimp taco is a quite delicious as well; I think a Mango salsa would pair good on it. The chicken meat is cooked to perfection super tender! Wish there would have been different ingredients in the chicken opt. I added the street corn & guac to it & that elevated it forsure. Really cute & charming spot. Staff is incredibly kind!“

“Everything was Great! We recently spent a date night downtown in Irwin, Mcfeely's chocolate and ice cream was the highlight! Customer service was great as we fumbled around selecting several chocolates to take home, the young lady was friendly, patient, and informative. We also got ice cream that we enjoyed outside. As we have got to enjoy every piece of chocolate since our visit highlights included the peanut butter chocolate pie, the brownie, chocolate covered cherries, chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered smores! There’s a small seating area inside and a drive-through to order ice cream if you are on the run.I ordered a sugar-free, fat-free vanilla yogurt cone, and it was really good. The person I was with ordered a milkshake, and that was equally as good.this is an ice cream shop so if you're looking for a burger or fries, this isn't the place to go.“

“O.M.G. this place is amazing! This was our first time here, after passing it up so many times on our way to different places. The advertisement for the Peanut Butter brownie parfait on their sign near the road was all the motivation I needed to finally stop. I am so glad I did! The custard is delicious. Unlike many other frozen custard I have had. I'm more of a soft serve ice cream person so this was right up my alley! Most ice creams upset my stomach later but I'll suffer though it to have some ice cream. I'm typing this up 3 hours later, and nothing yet! Finally a frozen treat I can eat that doesn't upset my stomach! The parfait I had, had bits of brownie in it and most places that I have had a brownie in the ice cream, its stale, this was like the brownie was only a couple hours old, it was that fresh tasting. The girls there are so sweet and nice, which just puts the cherry on top of the first time experience there. I will definitely be back to try their giant gobs and to try more of their frozen treats! Make the stop, don't wait like I did, you don't know what you're missing until you do!“

“I always eat from this place. One day I ordered food from the wrong restaurant, when I went to pick it up the owner notified me that it was wrong store. But he gave me the food for free anyways because I already paid for it, and couldn’t pick it up at the other store. I truly appreciate it. I am a forever customer great team great food.“

“First time there, everything was very good. We loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. I didn't care for my Pasta Carbonara, but that was a matter of personal taste. We all loved the appetizers and everyone else enjoyed their entrees.Second time there, last night, was a different story. The food was still very good but the server dropped the ball. I took my son, DIL and little grandson for dinner. We got an appetizer, 3 adult entrees and chicken fingers and fries for the little guy. Another server brought out the 3 adult entrees, but not the chicken fingers. We figured they might be coming although they were the quickest thing to make. After about 10 minutes, we realized it wasn't coming. It was hard to find our server bc they seem to all like to hang out in the kitchen. When I caught a glimpse of her in the kitchen, I asked her about the chicken fingers. She said she would check and came and told us that she had failed to put the order in but it would only take 4 minutes. It took over 15 minutes to get them. When they came, the rest of us were finished eating and had given the little guy some of our meals. We should have just told the server to take it back and take it off the check. Instead, we just boxed it up and took it home. The fries were coated with way too much salt. When the bill came, no apology for screwing up one of the meals and no offer to take it off the bill since we didn't get the simplest meal until the rest of our party was finished eating. Disappointing, but we will go back based upon our prior experience. Hopefully we will get a different server next time.“
