“These workers are very helpful and nice and keep the store moving . Good job kiddos. It is very nice to see young adults accept the job and actually do the job they're accepting rather than complain and stay on their phones you've got a great group of people in there I'm their weekly and love “

“This place is AMAZING! My mom and I are in town for a college tour, and many people were walking around with the ice cream so I suggested we give it a try. Immediately the two guys in there were delightful and very helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was so fun the moment we walked in. The flavors were amazing and I almost couldn’t choose between the Thin Mint and the Pittsburgh Pride. I ended up going with the latter. It is like brownie/oreo/cookie chunks and butterscotch. There might be another thing added. My mom got the pear flavor. We are both extremely satisfied with our choices. They did say that the flavors change up pretty often - for example, they’re getting ready for Blackberry Lemonade. But Pittsburgh Pride will always be available. So if you’re looking for a cute little dessert place after dinner, this is the place!“

“Came here today 3-26-24, on a bad rainy day I got a hot chai tea. Probably the best I've ever had. Caution it's super hot drink slow but makes it easier to enjoy lol. Nice foam on the top pretty color, sweet, nice spice. Was 4.50 for a 12oz which for how good it is they could easily raise it another 1.00. Definitely recommend and will be back!!!!“

“This place is just flat out AWESOME! Not only are the sundae creations unique, but they're DELICIOUS! The old school candy throughout the shop took me back to my childhood instantly, and the newer creations appealed to my daughters! (freeze dried gummi works?! Oh yes!!) Wrap it all in a fun Christmas theme, and set some games out to have some quality family time while enjoying your sundaes and you just can't go wrong!!“

The owner and employees are so friendly and inviting. Even when the kids ask for multiple samples ;) The shop is always clean and organized each time we’ve been in. Highly recommend this delicious small business!“

“Al's is my first ice cream shop since moving to Pittsburgh and no reason to go anywhere else! We started off with a couple of great, juicy hotdogs! My sundae was so large, I guess because of it's deliciousness it was easy to finish! The flavor and the portion sure beats where I came from. Thanks Al's.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp from upper lot“

I felt very welcomed and will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: The main entrance is accessible. I don’t know about bathrooms.“
“Dari Delite is the best thing to happen to our neighborhood in ages. The portions are generous, and their is a huge variety of ice cream treats to choose from, plus delicious hot dogs and nachos, all of which are reasonably priced. We go as often as we can“

“Absolutely love coming here. The honey lavender is my favorite. Every time I’ve come in the gentleman there is so kind and patient with us as we pick out the flavors we want at the time. My niece begs to come here every time we drive past. I highly recommend giving this place a try“

“extremely quick place for frozen yogurt. little human interaction as the yogurt and toppings are all self serve. only thing you need to interact with somebody for is to weigh your yogurt and pay but the whole process takes less than 10 maybe even 5 minutes if you know what you want.“
“Big thing here for the non-locals - CASH ONLY !The owner is one of the most down to earth people you'll meet. All the ice cream here is lovely, haven't had one bad thing here. There is no hard serve ice cream, but you can figure that out based on doing basic research. The place is exactly how you see it as well, right off of 5th avenue, so if there is a massive line you'll wait and like it!There usually isn't ever a large line and there is shaded seating on the left side of the building. They have blizzards, cones, sundaes, milkshakes and slushies, so there is more than enough to choose from. Does not hold back on hooking you up, and the price is cheaper than DQ“

“I'm a big fan of scoops! The location is perfect for grabbing a treat after dinner in the area or on a walk. They're open all year and open late which is super convenient. I love that they carry my childhood favorites (Superman, White House cherry, grasshopper pie) and the price is super reasonable. They have a little sitting area inside with some retail space selling pop, ice cream cakes, and candy. There are SO many options it always takes me forever to choose, but I usually pick two. This isn't the place to go if you're looking for super high quality locally churned ice cream or anything but is great if you're looking for a classic scoop of something sugary and fun or are going with a group who has varying tastes. There are tons of flavors kids and grownups alike will love (shout out blue moon!!!!) They have some frozen yogurt options, dairy free options, and things like milkshakes if a cone or cup isn't your thing. A go-to when I'm hanging out in Bloomfield and want a treat.“

“This place is incredible, from the moment you step through the door to the aroma of cookie doe and mix then to the cookies, pies or cakes they have on display for the days selection to the helpful and pleasant staff. This was my first time in a Crumble and I was throughly impressed. Reasonably priced and huge cookies! They are soft just how I like them, throw them in the microwave or heat them in the oven and you have what I call the appetite!10/10 would recommend“

“I came here without knowing much about it other than it has ice cream. I discovered it's more interesting than I expected. You create your own ice cream flavor and add toppings and other additions. I got a regular size custard in a waffle bowl. I combined marshmallow, white chocolate, and caramel flavors and added Oreo and cookie dough pieces. It was yummy and I was super surprised by how big the regular ice cream was. Would go back again.“

“I've been to this location a few times before and I've always enjoyed the staff and the quality of the cookies. I had stopped in today to take advantage of the limited time offer to get the Tres Leches cake before it would be discontinued after this week. The cake was so very good and the staff who had prepared my order today were extremely nice and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone.“
“I recently moved back to the area after 35+ years and was happy to see Dell's! My elderly father loves his ice cream and milkshakes and I was thrilled to stop at Dell's for him. Dad got a milkshakes and I got an arctic swirl. Not your bland tasteless machine ice-cream at all. Just good old fashioned real ice-cream at reasonable prices. And what a selection! Hot dogs to funnel cakes! Better than I remembered! Thanks Dell from me and my Dad!“

“This place is so eclectic. It is a FULL VIBE! I love everything about it! The service is impeccable!! FISH TACOs are absolutely delicious! Most of all the tacos have the same ingredients in them. The shrimp taco is a quite delicious as well; I think a Mango salsa would pair good on it. The chicken meat is cooked to perfection super tender! Wish there would have been different ingredients in the chicken opt. I added the street corn & guac to it & that elevated it forsure. Really cute & charming spot. Staff is incredibly kind!“
“Everything was Great! We recently spent a date night downtown in Irwin, Mcfeely's chocolate and ice cream was the highlight! Customer service was great as we fumbled around selecting several chocolates to take home, the young lady was friendly, patient, and informative. We also got ice cream that we enjoyed outside. As we have got to enjoy every piece of chocolate since our visit highlights included the peanut butter chocolate pie, the brownie, chocolate covered cherries, chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered smores! Look forward to our next visit to try more of the items and revisit some of our favorites!“

“Most generous ice cream place I’ve been to all summer! You’d think they’re closing and trying to give away all their toppings, easily crumpled 2 to 4 Reese‘s peanut butter cups in my small and medium size cup of ice cream, huge, serving of whipped cream and two cherries. So generous so affordable. Best in the burgh!!!“

“Started my Pittsburgh foodie adventures in this adorable little sit-down pizza restaurant in Shadyside! We tried the Pizza Del Re (white pizza) and Pizza Della Casa (red pizza), and both lived up to the hype! Pizza Del Re: - White pizza with mozzarella, truffle spread, & prosciutto (it comes with mushrooms too, but we got it without because my boyfriend doesn't like mushrooms) - A super rich truffle taste that was so yummy - Loved the thin crust, but there were parts that tasted a little too burnt Pizza Della Casa: - Red tomato sauce pizza with mozzarella, grape tomatoes, arugula, prosciutto, & parmigiano - I love the combination of prosciutto & arugula and it was a plus that the arugula tasted so fresh & wasn't bitter - I personally prefer red sauce over white sauce, so I liked this pizza a little bit more To top off your meal here, make sure to get their gelato for dessert! I got a small size with 2 flavors -- tiramisu and hazelnut. Both flavors were super rich and yummy and definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.“
“I have a soft spot for Millie's, because it was my first ever ice cream in Pittsburgh! So creamy and so many delicious flavors available! Follow them on instagram for updates. A bit overpriced but the waffle cones are definitely worth it. Love their coffee break flavor. Service and ambiance are okay, I mostly just go for the ice cream and take it to go“

“This is one of my favorite places to get yogurt or frozen custard. There’s a good selection of flavors. There’s a small seating area inside and a drive-through to order ice cream if you are on the run.I ordered a sugar-free, fat-free vanilla yogurt cone, and it was really good. The person I was with ordered a milkshake, and that was equally as good.this is an ice cream shop so if you're looking for a burger or fries, this isn't the place to go.“

“O.M.G. this place is amazing! This was our first time here, after passing it up so many times on our way to different places. The advertisement for the Peanut Butter brownie parfait on their sign near the road was all the motivation I needed to finally stop. I am so glad I did! The custard is delicious. Unlike many other frozen custard I have had. I'm more of a soft serve ice cream person so this was right up my alley! Most ice creams upset my stomach later but I'll suffer though it to have some ice cream. I'm typing this up 3 hours later, and nothing yet! Finally a frozen treat I can eat that doesn't upset my stomach! The parfait I had, had bits of brownie in it and most places that I have had a brownie in the ice cream, its stale, this was like the brownie was only a couple hours old, it was that fresh tasting. The girls there are so sweet and nice, which just puts the cherry on top of the first time experience there. I will definitely be back to try their giant gobs and to try more of their frozen treats! Make the stop, don't wait like I did, you don't know what you're missing until you do!“

“I always eat from this place. One day I ordered food from the wrong restaurant, when I went to pick it up the owner notified me that it was wrong store. But he gave me the food for free anyways because I already paid for it, and couldn’t pick it up at the other store. I truly appreciate it. I am a forever customer great team great food.“

“Excellent, excellent, excellent - this is the best ice cream/custard in Pittsburgh. The hours are a little tricky but absolutely worth it any chance you get. Flavors are always delicious and the texture is phenomenal. And the italian ice is wonderful as well!“

“The workers here are always kind and helpful. Everything I've tried has been really good. The chocolates may seem pricey, but they are comparable to Sarris's and at half the price when you include shipping. The milk chocolate lemon creams here were delicious!“

“Cannot say enough good things about their food, but strange staff. It didn’t even feel like the business was open when I went in and I was ignored on multiple occasions by the person at the counter. Had to raise my voice to get their attention and remove their headphones. Weird vibes. Great food “

“This place is probably the best variety and consistency of quality in any milkshake place in the Pittsburgh area. There is one tiny thing... $10 milkshakes. That is a bit misleading because those are the most expensive, however the most popular ones (called "gourmet shakes"), are $8, which is quite price. Even Millie's is cheaper... however the quality is always amazing.8.3/10 amazing milkshakes, great locations, very pricey.Dietary restrictions: DF milkshakes are available and I hear they are great. They are coconut base and a $1 upcharge from the basic $7 milkshakes. Limited selection.“
“Great spot along the Westmoreland Heritage Trail. Ice cream was good. Service was great. We were somewhat disappointed there is no longer "& Grille" here. Oh, and there was a nice clean bathroom for patrons, so that was worth the stop!“

“Small DQ next to gas station and Dunkin'. Def convenient to grab after fueling up vehicle . Typically only grab DQ for the ice cream , but it was lunch time so I ordered a double cheeseburger and Oreo hot cocoa blizzard . I forgot how good their burgers are! Tastes delicious . Blizzard was rich and chocolatey. Yum!!“
“Leona's was so generous and donating us some ice cream sandwiches for the Three Rivers business Alliance Gala called my business my pride ? I just wanted everybody to know how generous they are and it's because of businesses like this helping other community members and small businesses is what's going to make Pittsburgh grow thank you so much Leona's you helped us raise money and we truly appreciate it! Happy holidays to you all and Happy New Year..“
“Rita's has always been a favorite of mine, this location is no exception. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the hours are decent, though I wish it was open earlier than 12PM. The custard was great both times I've went and I had a good experience both times, would definitely recommend Rita's in general to anybody! The only down side to this location is the slightly limited ice and custard flavor options they had available compared to other locations such as Squirrel Hill's.Nonetheless it is a very nice stop on your trip and always a good treat!“
“Is there much to this place? Not really. But if you're walking around the area on a warm, sunny day, nothing tops a gelati from Rita's. I lived in Pittsburgh for a year over twenty years ago, discovered this place maybe a month before I moved away. Since then, if I visit and the place is open, I have to stop here.Even when there's a line, service is always quick and friendly. For the treats themselves, the cup will look small when you see it empty, but I've always found that the small is the perfect size, at least for the gelati.“

“Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t crazy incredible either… I think the flavors are unique, but there wasn’t a single cookies and cream flavor which I feel like is a staple to most ice cream shops, I did settle on a milky chocolate flavor, the others were either to sweet or just meh. The waffles were also way too sweet. The staff was very nice and everything looked super clean not to mention the location is INCREDIBLE! Must visit if you wanna get some cute pictures next to the wall of plants.“

“A good dairy queen with above average service. The food isn't as good as some other local small business ice cream shops but the service is above average and the atmosphere and location are central to a lot of other places making this an excellent place to go for ice cream!Parking: Parking is in an adjacent lot, business is on a steep hill so turning into and out of the lot can be difficult. Parking is free and plentiful though.“

“Park Pizza and Creme is like its name: a cute and cool corner pizza and ice cream place with outdoor seating across from Frick Park, but it's really so much more. Neighbors and passersby stop for food, conversation, and outdoor family sitdowns, just like in the days when it was more common. Stop by this place after playing with the little ones in Frick Park or carry out a pizza or sub to go! Any way you slice it, you're sure to enjoy this friendly place!“

“Had Sunday breakfast there with my lovely wife. This is a great blast from the past. The kind of cozy little diner that is hard to find these days. The place was clean and the staff was great. So friendly. So welcoming. We ordered a few things so we could try some different dishes. Everything was delicious. The Apple Fritter french toast was particularly decadent but I didn't have anything that wasn't top notch. Will definitely return.“
