“O.M.G. this place is amazing! This was our first time here, after passing it up so many times on our way to different places. The advertisement for the Peanut Butter brownie parfait on their sign near the road was all the motivation I needed to finally stop. I am so glad I did! The custard is delicious. Unlike many other frozen custard I have had. I'm more of a soft serve ice cream person so this was right up my alley! Most ice creams upset my stomach later but I'll suffer though it to have some ice cream. I'm typing this up 3 hours later, and nothing yet! Finally a frozen treat I can eat that doesn't upset my stomach! The parfait I had, had bits of brownie in it and most places that I have had a brownie in the ice cream, its stale, this was like the brownie was only a couple hours old, it was that fresh tasting. The girls there are so sweet and nice, which just puts the cherry on top of the first time experience there. I will definitely be back to try their giant gobs and to try more of their frozen treats! Make the stop, don't wait like I did, you don't know what you're missing until you do!“

“This Rita's is the best Rita's in this area. It's also the only Rita's with Chocolate flavored Italian ice in this area. I have a Rita's 10min away from my house but I drive 30min just to get the Chocolate flavored ice here. Also the owner is such a nice person!“

“I wasn’t looking for this place, it found us! The smell of the fresh waffle cones/bowls brought me and my family inside. We’d just finished dinner and were headed to the car when we couldn’t go without it. This place is a true gem! There were so many bright flavors that tasted amazingly refreshing. We each tried about 2 flavors before deciding on the lemon & blueberry ice cream. It was perfectly tart, smooth, creamy and sweet. The staff were so nice and had so much patience while we picked the perfect dessert. We each also had to have it served in a waffle bowl with was crunchy and soft while not taking away from the taste of the ice cream. The staff member who took care of us was Evan and behaved graciously about us leaving a tip which I appreciated. The atmosphere was welcoming, child friendly with a cute aesthetic that would make a good place for ending the night. I would definitely come back.“

“the ice cream is delicious but I've learned the hard way that you need to ask for extra extra stuff in your cyclone. just grabbed my first one of the year and it quite literally had 4 chunks of reeses cup in it...me and my 6 year old counted after my first like 10 bites were nothing but ice cream. so it was basically a big cup of chocolate ice cream which was disappointing. I'll remember to ask for plenty of extra next time. otherwise, delicious options!“

“I wanted to write this review after stopping here many times over the past year to try out their vast menu, so now I can leave a genuine review.
In short, this place has high reviews for a reason. The variety, quality, and the people who work here are top-notch.
I have tried all the sundaes. Not all were winners, but that was more due to my personal preferences rather than the actual sundaes.
The staff here is fantastic, always friendly and never sour, even when it's hot outside and the line is wrapping around the building.
Let's talk about the line. There's no way around it. If you're looking for fast and good, you can only choose one, and the only option is good. I've been here many times, and honestly, there's no good pattern to predict when the line will be huge or smaller. Of course, there are big lines when the weather is nice and it's the weekend. In fact, today the line was around the building and into the parking lot. People who are wise bring little camping chairs, which is what my wife and I did. It took the better part of an hour to get in. One nice thing that makes the wait more bearable is a bridge that goes over much of the parking lot, shielding you from the sun most of the time and any weather.
Parking, even on the most packed days, is still possible as they have an overflow lot. However, there have been a few times where there wasn't a single spot to be had, but that only happened once to me.
My advice if you don't want to wait in a long line is to go on a rainy, miserable day during the weekdays shortly after it opens or an hour or two before it closes. Then the wait isn't too bad.
You should at least come here once as these old school places are becoming less and less common over the years and part of what makes this place so great is the experience it offers and its history. There are other local ice cream places that have ice cream just as good but there is no other place like this in terms of the nostalgia and quality of the service provided.
Parking: There are a lot of spots and an overflow lot but on a big day it can sometimes be tough to find a spot“

“I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I tried this place few months ago , since then it has become my go to place for coffee and ice cream. I have taken my friends here and they love it as much as I love it!! I come here because of great staff, coffee and feel of this cafe. I usually don't give review on cafes, since they haven't impressed me this much yet!! “I thought there would be more varieties of cookies when I went in. It’s an interesting concept to provide new varieties every week. The cookies I ordered were a little under baked and chewy in the middle. I imagine it’s a little hard to get the baking time right with cookies that big. They were still good! I went in to try cookies for the first time since it was my birthday. I wasn’t disappointed.“

“First off, do you like Liege style waffles or perfectly made milkshakes? Try this place out. Easy recommendation.In more detail though, they have an excellent selection of ice creams with a myriad of ways to have it served to you (cups, bowls, cones, milkshakefied, etc.) and many delectable chocolates to boot.Positive: Pricing on the Waffles is good, milkshakes are industry average, and craft sodas are standard market price.Negative: The chocolates are a little expensive overall. Not dissing the quality though, but you are paying premium chocolate prices for what you get, especially the party trays.Overall: Definitely give it a try and report back your findings, I think you'll like it!“

“I was in Pittsburgh this past weekend and looking for new things to try walking down carson street i stumbled accross this place , If I'm not mistaken Brandon was the gentleman that assisted me he gave me a great first experience to insomnia he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate how kind he was. He also let me know that there was a location closer to me when he found out I was from ohio which I didn't know about which was pretty helpful.“
