“O.M.G. this place is amazing! This was our first time here, after passing it up so many times on our way to different places. The advertisement for the Peanut Butter brownie parfait on their sign near the road was all the motivation I needed to finally stop. I am so glad I did! The custard is delicious. Unlike many other frozen custard I have had. I'm more of a soft serve ice cream person so this was right up my alley! Most ice creams upset my stomach later but I'll suffer though it to have some ice cream. I'm typing this up 3 hours later, and nothing yet! Finally a frozen treat I can eat that doesn't upset my stomach! The parfait I had, had bits of brownie in it and most places that I have had a brownie in the ice cream, its stale, this was like the brownie was only a couple hours old, it was that fresh tasting. The girls there are so sweet and nice, which just puts the cherry on top of the first time experience there. I will definitely be back to try their giant gobs and to try more of their frozen treats! Make the stop, don't wait like I did, you don't know what you're missing until you do!“

“I wanted to write this review after stopping here many times over the past year to try out their vast menu, so now I can leave a genuine review.

In short, this place has high reviews for a reason. The variety, quality, and the people who work here are top-notch.

I have tried all the sundaes. Not all were winners, but that was more due to my personal preferences rather than the actual sundaes.

The staff here is fantastic, always friendly and never sour, even when it's hot outside and the line is wrapping around the building.

Let's talk about the line. There's no way around it. If you're looking for fast and good, you can only choose one, and the only option is good. I've been here many times, and honestly, there's no good pattern to predict when the line will be huge or smaller. Of course, there are big lines when the weather is nice and it's the weekend. In fact, today the line was around the building and into the parking lot. People who are wise bring little camping chairs, which is what my wife and I did. It took the better part of an hour to get in. One nice thing that makes the wait more bearable is a bridge that goes over much of the parking lot, shielding you from the sun most of the time and any weather.

Parking, even on the most packed days, is still possible as they have an overflow lot. However, there have been a few times where there wasn't a single spot to be had, but that only happened once to me.

My advice if you don't want to wait in a long line is to go on a rainy, miserable day during the weekdays shortly after it opens or an hour or two before it closes. Then the wait isn't too bad.

You should at least come here once as these old school places are becoming less and less common over the years and part of what makes this place so great is the experience it offers and its history. There are other local ice cream places that have ice cream just as good but there is no other place like this in terms of the nostalgia and quality of the service provided.

The cookies I ordered were a little under baked and chewy in the middle. I imagine it’s a little hard to get the baking time right with cookies that big. They were still good! “I visit this Dairy Queen often. The staff are always attentive, courteous and always friendly no matter how busy they are. Naturally, the ice cream dishes are awesome . And the food is good at a fair price. My favorites are the bacon cheese burgers and their chicken strip baskets.“

“This was our 2nd time coming here and if I was buying just for me I'd come back. My mother has had stomach issues after eating the chicken tenders both times; I believe it is because of my mother's stomach and nothing to do with the food. Parking: Getting into the parking lot is no problem but getting out is a little more complicated as you would have to go a little out of the way to go in the direction you want to as no one would give you a chance to get out of the parking lot.
