“I wasn’t looking for this place, it found us! The smell of the fresh waffle cones/bowls brought me and my family inside. We’d just finished dinner and were headed to the car when we couldn’t go without it. This place is a true gem! There were so many bright flavors that tasted amazingly refreshing. We each tried about 2 flavors before deciding on the lemon & blueberry ice cream. It was perfectly tart, smooth, creamy and sweet. The staff were so nice and had so much patience while we picked the perfect dessert. We each also had to have it served in a waffle bowl with was crunchy and soft while not taking away from the taste of the ice cream. The staff member who took care of us was Evan and behaved graciously about us leaving a tip which I appreciated. “I wanted to write this review after stopping here many times over the past year to try out their vast menu, so now I can leave a genuine review.

In short, this place has high reviews for a reason. The variety, quality, and the people who work here are top-notch.

I have tried all the sundaes. Not all were winners, but that was more due to my personal preferences rather than the actual sundaes.

The staff here is fantastic, always friendly and never sour, even when it's hot outside and the line is wrapping around the building.

Let's talk about the line. There's no way around it. If you're looking for fast and good, you can only choose one, and the only option is good. I've been here many times, and honestly, there's no good pattern to predict when the line will be huge or smaller. Of course, there are big lines when the weather is nice and it's the weekend. In fact, today the line was around the building and into the parking lot. People who are wise bring little camping chairs, which is what my wife and I did. It took the better part of an hour to get in. One nice thing that makes the wait more bearable is a bridge that goes over much of the parking lot, shielding you from the sun most of the time and any weather.

Parking, even on the most packed days, is still possible as they have an overflow lot. However, there have been a few times where there wasn't a single spot to be had, but that only happened once to me.

My advice if you don't want to wait in a long line is to go on a rainy, miserable day during the weekdays shortly after it opens or an hour or two before it closes. Then the wait isn't too bad.

You should at least come here once as these old school places are becoming less and less common over the years and part of what makes this place so great is the experience it offers and its history. There are other local ice cream places that have ice cream just as good but there is no other place like this in terms of the nostalgia and quality of the service provided.

The cookies I ordered were a little under baked and chewy in the middle. I imagine it’s a little hard to get the baking time right with cookies that big. They were still good!
