“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)“

“This is a great place for ice cream. It’s right across the street from Renzie Park. Nice place to stop after a walk , a ball game or one of the Sunday night concerts in the summer.They also have a small convenience store.
They have a variety of treats on their menu, soft serve, sundaes, milkshakes and Perry’s ice cream. They also serve hot food , burgers,Nathan‘s hotdogs.

“Yummy! While on our June summer road trip with our kids, we were in the mood for something sweet and decided to try out The Meadows for their famous custard. We were not disappointed! The building is very welcoming from the outside. All painted with ice cream cones and Adirondack chairs sitting around. In the front, you have tables where you can sit outside and enjoy the air. Inside you have tables and chairs in a brightly painted, cheerful room. There is also a life-size connect 4 game where the kids can play. My son and I enjoyed a game while eating our custard. It was a busy day, but the workers did great. They were very friendly. We all went for the original vanilla and we’re very impressed. I loved my waffle cone! It was a very hot day and these definitely hit the spot! Highly recommend! Good for kids! Boosters and high chairs available. *Wheelchair accessible entrance, seating, parking lot and restroom. The staff was very kind and gave us great recommendations including a couple of samples and we made great decisions. 5 out of 5 wood ice cream again.“

“I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.“

“If you love matcha I think you will like this cozy spot in Squirrel Hill. You can choose your level of matcha, level five being the strongest. They also offer weekly rotating soft serve flavors and matcha ice cream you can have at different levels of matcha as well. The indoor and outdoor seating is fine and I appreciate the public bathroom.

My fave was the blueberry matcha latte but it’s ube season now. My current favorite is the iced banana pudding matcha latte with coconut milk at level one.“
