“Very tasty ice cream and all kinds of flavored gelatos. All kinds of combination. The fruit flavors are very good true to the fruit flavor. I like peach which tends to be a soft flavor. and can easily taste fake. But not at Rita’s Same with the mango.“

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)“

Everyone enjoyed what they got... well, my wife got a Shirley Temple and didn't enjoy it but I ate it, so it was enjoyed. Very comfortable and family-friendly environment. “Little place that tends to have a line at night, but worth it! They have a select few flavors, but all of them are super light and delicious, especially the taro. They also have a good selection of toppings, especially different fruits, but I do wish they add more popping boba flavors in the future.

“We discovered this place as we were walking in New Ken for the first time seeing what kinds of stores they had. We decided to come in the Lucky Duck, because it’s summer so why not have ice cream before noon . The moment you walk in the store you feel like a kid again with all the different kinds of candy to pick from and the smell of the fresh baked waffle cones . As soon as we walked in we were greeted! They have penn state creamery ice cream and I have never had that before so I orders the Death by Chocolate. Best ice cream I ever had ! The price is great for the amount of ice cream you get !“

“It is rated one of Pittsburgh's top ice creameries. I must concur. They have a very large selection of goodies to choose from. It is in a good location but it is a little hard to get in and out of. So be careful. Ice cream with cookies was excellent. I got the raspberry syrup with cheesecake. It was way too sweet for me. But the amount you get is great. It was well worth the price. I was a little bummed. They do not have picnic tables. All in all, it was a great place to go for a dessert. 🙂“

“Yummy! While on our June summer road trip with our kids, we were in the mood for something sweet and decided to try out The Meadows for their famous custard. We were not disappointed! The building is very welcoming from the outside. All painted with ice cream cones and Adirondack chairs sitting around. In the front, you have tables where you can sit outside and enjoy the air. Inside you have tables and chairs in a brightly painted, cheerful room. There is also a life-size connect 4 game where the kids can play. My son and I enjoyed a game while eating our custard. It was a busy day, but the workers did great. They were very friendly. We all went for the original vanilla and we’re very impressed. I loved my waffle cone! It was a very hot day and these definitely hit the spot! Highly recommend! Good for kids! Boosters and high chairs available. *Wheelchair accessible entrance, seating, parking lot and restroom. Offers eat in, take out that you can get through the drive-through window or the walk up window and delivery. Credit and debit cards accepted.“

“This Bruster's is far better than any other ice cream shop in the area. It was "Every Given Sunday" but after Covid, they closed permanently. This place has excellent mango sorbet and Chocolate ice cream shakes and pint size. Friendly. Helpful and the ice cream tops every place I've been too. Cool Cones is awful and can't compare!“

“If you love matcha I think you will like this cozy spot in Squirrel Hill. You can choose your level of matcha, level five being the strongest. They also offer weekly rotating soft serve flavors and matcha ice cream you can have at different levels of matcha as well. The indoor and outdoor seating is fine and I appreciate the public bathroom.

My fave was the blueberry matcha latte but it’s ube season now. My current favorite is the iced banana pudding matcha latte with coconut milk at level one.“

The staff was very kind and gave us great recommendations including a couple of samples and we made great decisions. 5 out of 5 wood ice cream again.“

The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.“
