“Came here today 3-26-24, on a bad rainy day I got a hot chai tea. Probably the best I've ever had. Caution it's super hot drink slow but makes it easier to enjoy lol. Nice foam on the top pretty color, sweet, nice spice. Was 4.50 for a 12oz which for how good it is they could easily raise it another 1.00. Definitely recommend and will be back!!!!“

“I stopped by here this past Sunday with my wife and our twins for our morning coffees. Every Sunday my wife and I try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this day we happened to decide upon The Black Canary. It's located right on Pittsburgh Street in Springdale and has some street parking out front but they also have a lot available on Oak Street. The inside of this coffee shop was cozy with black and white checkerboard footing, some tables, a couch and then window seating on both sides of the door. Beyond that there were a ton of vinyl records and a few video games which I think were free to play. For my coffee on this morning I decided to order from their spring menu and went with the Lavender Coconut Cold Brew while my wife went with the coconut shakerato. The menu described my drink as Coconut Simple Syrup + Cold Brew and Lavender Cold Foam while my wife's was described as Coconut Simple Syrup, Espresso, your choice of milk all shaken with ice. After only a minute or two of a wait we had our coffees and were on our way. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our coffees here. My cold brew had a deep a rich flavor with a hint of coconut and a mostly lavender flavor. Then my wife's tasted mostly of coconut with the coffee playing a nice supporting role. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Both my wife and I loved our coffees and I would be interested in trying more of their coffee drinks as well as seeing if they arcade games really were free.“

“We were SO excited to find this ice cream shop!!! There are so many delicious flavors and the combinations to make your own creations are endless. The owner and employees are so friendly and inviting. Even when the kids ask for multiple samples ;) The shop is always clean and organized each time we’ve been in. Highly recommend this delicious small business!“
“Dari Delite is the best thing to happen to our neighborhood in ages. The portions are generous, and their is a huge variety of ice cream treats to choose from, plus delicious hot dogs and nachos, all of which are reasonably priced. We go as often as we can“
“Big thing here for the non-locals - CASH ONLY !The owner is one of the most down to earth people you'll meet. All the ice cream here is lovely, haven't had one bad thing here. There is no hard serve ice cream, but you can figure that out based on doing basic research. The place is exactly how you see it as well, right off of 5th avenue, so if there is a massive line you'll wait and like it!There usually isn't ever a large line and there is shaded seating on the left side of the building. They have blizzards, cones, sundaes, milkshakes and slushies, so there is more than enough to choose from. Does not hold back on hooking you up, and the price is cheaper than DQ“
“Sooo good. I was driving past and decided to stop. I got the cannoli ice cream on a waffle cone. The ice cream was mascarpone flavored with miniature chocolate chips and cannoli shell pieces throughout. The serving sizes are huge. 10.00 minimum to use your card. The lovely lady who waited on me was so sweet. There’s plenty of seating with some benches on both sides of the ordering windows. Parking right in front in a gravel lot. Highly recommend!“
“The best ice cream and homemade cones around! Jerry is the sweetest guy- he gave my kids half dollars, extra ice cream, and homemade waffle cone pieces! The black raspberry was the best we've ever had, and we also enjoyed the ample seating and green space while the kids played.“

“Any time of day, if Glen's is open there is a line for custard because the locals know how good it is. The apple cobbler with warm vanilla custard is a favorite as is the chocolate banana shake. Love that they have both think and thin options for the shakes. Wish they had a malt option, but that is being nit-picky.“

“This place is incredible, from the moment you step through the door to the aroma of cookie doe and mix then to the cookies, pies or cakes they have on display for the days selection to the helpful and pleasant staff. This was my first time in a Crumble and I was throughly impressed. Reasonably priced and huge cookies! They are soft just how I like them, throw them in the microwave or heat them in the oven and you have what I call the appetite!10/10 would recommend“

“Flavors change often. I've come several times and always see something different. I personally love getting the Extreme, which is their version of a DQ blizzard. You can choose what base from any of the available flavors that day and add toppings!! Usually most places do vanilla as the base.Previously, I got an Extreme with a Butter Pecan base mixed with Oreo and cookie dough pieces. That was unusual and tasty, but I also highly recommend adding their new brownie cookie dough bites! That really adds something extra. Last time, I got an Extreme with vanilla ice cream mixed with Oreo, cookie dough, and brownie dough bites. Definitely yummy. Overall, I definitely keep coming back. Also it's cash only! But worth it.“

“Most generous ice cream place I’ve been to all summer! You’d think they’re closing and trying to give away all their toppings, easily crumpled 2 to 4 Reese‘s peanut butter cups in my small and medium size cup of ice cream, huge, serving of whipped cream and two cherries. So generous so affordable. Best in the burgh!!!“

“Love this place. Have been enjoying Glenn’s for over 40 years. Grew up in Springdale and remember going there every year on opening day after school with friends. Great custard and the best customer service. There’s usually a line but they have plenty of staff and it always moves very quickly.“

“We celebrated our daughter’s 4th birthday here! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us with yummy sundaes for the kids and a warm atmosphere for all of us to celebrate together. Kolby made the birthday girl feel very special by creating a special sundae just for her! We can’t say enough good things! The staff was friendly and a direct reflection of their awesome manager. The milkshake factory is a wonderful addition to the murrysville community!“
“I would have given 5 stars but we went at night and although they had absolutely amazing service (extremely accommodating), they had a horrible gnat and mosquito issue. I got very bit up. I'd highly recommend going during the day or don't intend on staying if you go at night. They also have huge portions.“

“This is one of my favorite places to get yogurt or frozen custard. There’s a good selection of flavors. There’s a small seating area inside and a drive-through to order ice cream if you are on the run.I ordered a sugar-free, fat-free vanilla yogurt cone, and it was really good. The person I was with ordered a milkshake, and that was equally as good.this is an ice cream shop so if you're looking for a burger or fries, this isn't the place to go.“

“I always eat from this place. One day I ordered food from the wrong restaurant, when I went to pick it up the owner notified me that it was wrong store. But he gave me the food for free anyways because I already paid for it, and couldn’t pick it up at the other store. I truly appreciate it. I am a forever customer great team great food.“
“My family loves this place! It's almost a tradition for us -- play a round of mini golf, then follow the game by getting some floats. We also usually pick out a flavor or two to order in to-go/"take home" containers, as well. We have enjoyed everything we've tried from here! This location sells pints, quarts, and gallons of frozen custard as well as lots of "eat immediately" treats. There are ordering/pick-up windows in the front, covered picnic tables around back, and a medium-sized parking lot surrounding the building. The attached mini golf course is picturesque with a blue waterfall and water hazards. The first and last hole are across the street (actually more of an alley/parking area) from the rest of the holes, which gives it a unique twist. There are also scorecard "podiums" along the course. (There are no food or drinks allowed on the course, but one or two trash cans would be a nice addition, since some guests occasionally break the rules of the course, as well as the rules of human decency, and leave trash around the playing areas. They might not use the bins anyway, but other more conscientious guests would probably assist with this.) Overall, this is a wonderful place to visit. I highly recommend the mini golf and the frozen custard -- consecutively as a complete trip, or separately.“

“First time there, everything was very good. We loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. I didn't care for my Pasta Carbonara, but that was a matter of personal taste. We all loved the appetizers and everyone else enjoyed their entrees.Second time there, last night, was a different story. The food was still very good but the server dropped the ball. I took my son, DIL and little grandson for dinner. We got an appetizer, 3 adult entrees and chicken fingers and fries for the little guy. Another server brought out the 3 adult entrees, but not the chicken fingers. We figured they might be coming although they were the quickest thing to make. After about 10 minutes, we realized it wasn't coming. It was hard to find our server bc they seem to all like to hang out in the kitchen. When I caught a glimpse of her in the kitchen, I asked her about the chicken fingers. She said she would check and came and told us that she had failed to put the order in but it would only take 4 minutes. It took over 15 minutes to get them. When they came, the rest of us were finished eating and had given the little guy some of our meals. We should have just told the server to take it back and take it off the check. Instead, we just boxed it up and took it home. The fries were coated with way too much salt. When the bill came, no apology for screwing up one of the meals and no offer to take it off the bill since we didn't get the simplest meal until the rest of our party was finished eating. Disappointing, but we will go back based upon our prior experience. Hopefully we will get a different server next time.“

“The workers here are always kind and helpful. Everything I've tried has been really good. The chocolates may seem pricey, but they are comparable to Sarris's and at half the price when you include shipping. The milk chocolate lemon creams here were delicious!“

“Went for the first time tonight. Service was fast and friendly.Del's serves Perry's Ice Cream, which I grew up eating in Erie, PA. It is awesome ice cream and harder to find in Pittsburgh. On top of that there are many "ice cream parlor only" flavors that you can't buy in the grocery store anywhere.Husband got 3 scoops, and I got the ice cream nachos. Ice cream nachos come with 2 scoops, waffle cone "nachos" and 2 toppings. Both of the things we got seemed like a great deal. As a major ice cream - especially cookie dough - fan I can't recommend this place enough. I would absolutely drive out of my way to come here again vs. Dairy Queen and other independent places.“
