“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. These ice cream flavors were some of the richest, most decadent I have ever experienced and that is coming from an ice cream aficionado.

After dinner, we walked to Millie‘s from our Airbnb and after sampling many different flavors, I finally settled upon the backyard s’mores and the brownie batter. Both flavors absolutely stuck true to their names and packed a punch.

I think I preferred the backyard s’mores just slightly because the brownie batter was SO decadent and SO rich it almost was too much. The keyword there being “almost”.

“We discovered this place as we were walking in New Ken for the first time seeing what kinds of stores they had. We decided to come in the Lucky Duck, because it’s summer so why not have ice cream before noon . The moment you walk in the store you feel like a kid again with all the different kinds of candy to pick from and the smell of the fresh baked waffle cones . As soon as we walked in we were greeted! They have penn state creamery ice cream and I have never had that before so I orders the Death by Chocolate. Best ice cream I ever had ! The price is great for the amount of ice cream you get !“

“This is a great place for ice cream. It’s right across the street from Renzie Park. Nice place to stop after a walk , a ball game or one of the Sunday night concerts in the summer.They also have a small convenience store.
They have a variety of treats on their menu, soft serve, sundaes, milkshakes and Perry’s ice cream. They also serve hot food , burgers,Nathan‘s hotdogs.

The building is very welcoming from the outside. All painted with ice cream cones and Adirondack chairs sitting around. In the front, you have tables where you can sit outside and enjoy the air.
