Lots of noise echo and not all of the wall plugs were working for chargers. But that won't keep me from eating there again. Food was delish!!“

The slaw that is one of the toppings was great l just don't love items on a sandwich that make your bread soggy. There are generous children options available. I shared a picture of the pizza and fries. The lunch hour on a Sunday is busy so nice to see an active environment. It's an experience and a great place to dine with others.“

Neat local art reminds you of what the Waterfront originally was - a steel mill and the restaurant was very clean. Our waitress (Sarah) was quintessential Pittsburgh. The awesome accent, treated us like family and of course superb service. We were there for breakfast. The Western omelet, bacon, and eggs Benedict with fruit were spot on.Thereafter, wanting to bring the smiles back to California, we stopped at their mini shop at the entrance for smiley cookies, souvenir coffee mugs and coffee.Overall, a great experience!“

“Been wanting to try the breakfast sandwiches since they opened and since moving to this side of town, thought today was a perfect excuse. I've seen people rave about this place and now i know why. Seeing as though we got there around 8 am, I'd recommend getting there early because I've been told it can be line out the door later on, but that's how you know it's good. I got the classic with bacon and my boyfriend got the breakfast smash. We also opted to split the Creme Brulee griddled French toast with lemon curd. Paired with an Arabica pour over coffee for him and Oblong tea for me, it was the perfect Easter breakfast. The sandwiches were cooked perfectly. That French toast though, wow! The perfect amount of sweetness and with the mild lemon curd, just chef's kiss. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Can't wait to come back.“

“There's a lot of things to love about fig & ash; it's got a fun atmosphere, great service, and good food. The attentiveness of the staff was particularly a highlight -- different dishes and utensils for each part of the meal showed an attentiveness to the experience. The food is inventive on simple themes, which we loved (but also felt like it didn't hit on some things).Overall, it was a great experience, but I think for what it was, the price is just a little too high (and thus the 4 stars instead of 5). Specifically, some of the food pairings were a little off, and the environment is a bit cluttered. Nothing bad for a slightly less expensive restaurant, but at this price point it's a 4/5 for me.“

“My husband and I had a great time experiencing The Puttery for the first time. We had the unlimited package and played five rounds of golf. This includes three 9 hole courses that you can play as many times as you choose. We also took advantage of the food and drinks. Drinks are allowed on the course and each hole has a stand for you to rest your drinks while you putt. For dinner I had the appetizer, potato flautas, and my husband had the BBQ bacon burger. Each were delightful. The decor on the courses and throughout the building was so much fun. I really enjoyed the different seating selections for dining as well. Linda was the host for the Garage course the day we were there. She was super sweet and seemed to love her job so much! We would recommend this place to many and would definitely come again if we are in Pittsburgh .“

“Did delivery. Ordered the Drumsticks with Hot Honey, Hushpuppies with Comback Sauce, and Homemade Biscuits with Blackberry Jam and Honey Butter. I was a huge fan of the Drumsticks. Cooked perfectly, not overseasoned. Could argue slightly underseasoned, but would take away from the hot Honey. Great pairing. The Hushpuppies were overcooked, so I can't really judge how good they were. The Comback sauce saved them, that sauce is on point, wished the hushpuppies weren't overcooked. The biscuits were also somewhat overdone. I feel that the Blackberry jam was a tad too tart. I didn't taste the honey in the honey butter. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good, either. I am encouraged with the potential, though. I will give them another shot.“

“Bistro to Go did an incredible job for our vegan wedding. They worked with us to create a menu we loved and made time to answer any questions we had along the way. They had a complimentary tasting and the chefs even hopped on zoom calls throughout the planning to make sure the menu had been completely perfected. Shauna and the team also worked with us to provide the most inclusive menu possible - with plenty of gluten free options and nut free options in addition to the wedding being fully vegan. This made sure everyone attending the wedding could fully enjoy the food, which was extremely important to us. All of my non-vegan friends and family were raving about the food! My meat-eating uncle actually said "if all vegan food tasted like this I could go vegan." The meals were beautifully plated and the service was excellent. My non-vegan parents were so relieved and happy we went with Bistro. We had actually started with another company for our wedding, but after hiring them it was very difficult to reach them and when we did, it didn't feel like there was a willingness to work on customizing a menu for our wedding. We ended up switching to Bistro to Go and it was the best decision we made.“

The space was a beautifully quaint and well-used venue. The crowd for a sellout was the perfect size and it was not overcrowded. The acoustics of the venue were very excellent and the price of tickets was phenomenal. “This was a mixed bag. There were 8 of us. Parking is sufficient, right off 88, not hard to find. Easy wheelchair access. After ordering, you seat yourself. They don't take reservations. Waitresses bring your drinks & food to the table. You order at a cafeteria counter, but the food is upscaled. They smoke their own meats outside in the parking lot. The menu is varied with brisket & pulled pork as the smoked products served in familiar as well as new formats like a pulled pork taco. Smelled great, but I was determined to try the buttered lobster roll. It was amazing! Small, tender bun stuffed with the meat of 1 lobster all in butter, unfortunately I did bite into a small bit of shell. Hubby tried the lentil, ham, veggie soup. It was a pretty large bowl & really good. His entree was a shaved ribeye sandwich, also excellent, although I thought it could have had more meat. Crispy, salted waffle fries were terrific. Others had burger, small plate salmon dinner, crab cake - everyone was pleased. The desserts were not very good. Creme Brulee & cheesecake were good, cookies & brownies were hard, not good.Overall, I would go back again. Next trip I will be trying those tacos.“

“My husband and I went for breakfast here as we stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco. When you walk into the restaurant the place is absolutely gorgeous and the ambiance is beautiful. Service was great, but I had one (small) issue with my breakfast plate. I ordered the frittata, thinking that it would be a thicker piece (a normal frittata), however it was almost paper thin with huge chunks of red & yelllow tomatoes, along with huge chunks of green onion. Not your ideal frittata!“

“I've lived 5 minutes away for years and never knew what I was missing!I tried Coughlins Law for the first time with my husband and kids a few weeks ago and have already been back two more times (will absolutely be going again and again because we NEED to try everything and the menu is always changing!)So far we've tried the Crab Rangoon Nachos (massive, addictive, and the perfect salty sweet app!), the Fried Burrata (looked delicious but can't confirm because my kids polished it off instantly) the Coughlin Law Burger (loved the theatrics with the smokey dome and genuinely could taste it, too! It was like a super upgraded outdoor BBQ burger) and about 10 more dishes. The service the first time was quick and helpful, but the most recent was above and beyond. The waiter we had was so friendly and funny it genuinely felt like he was talking to old friends the whole time and it made the whole meal that much better. All that to say, I highly recommend this place to anyone who hasn't been here yet. You truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu!*Pro-tip: order as much as you can because they make for killer leftovers too“

“We (couple) had a great dinner at Bridges & Bourbon. The service and atmosphere were great. We booked a day-of reservation and could only get in for dinner at 8:45pm but we didn't mind terribly. It was the St Patrick's Day parade that day so perhaps was busier than normal. We started with the shrimp and salad, both were good but not amazing. I had the smash burger and my partner had the streak - the mains were great. We ended with the tiramisu cheesecake, not what I was expecting (it was in a small ramekin) and more of a mousse than a cheesecake, but it was a nice light sweet to end our meal. I don't drink but the cocktails they were making looked very cool. On the pricier side but for a special night out I think it's justifiable!“

“My partner loves sweets, cookies in particular, and I wanted to find a local bakery to buy some goodies for Valentine’s Day. Was happy to see that this place offers cookie packs with free shipping! I loved the assortment and the specialty Pittsburgh inspired cookies. I’ve never ordered baked goods through the mail before, so I was worried about how they would arrive. However, they were neatly packaged and individually wrapped! And they were still soft. This place also allows you to add a custom message which was added as a sticker on the inside of the box. The cookies were delicious and larger than I expected - I would definitely repurchase from this place! Thank you for the A+ Valentine’s gift!“
