She was very polite, informative, and even made sure to ask about any allergies. “Visiting from out of town. This may be one of the largest bakeries I have every seen in my life. I saw an enormous variety of stuff from Apple donuts--through bagels, breads, cakes, pies, rolls, and all the way through Viennoiseries (like croissants--I had to find a letter later in the alphabet). What I had Boston Cream donut, fruit tart, blueberry bagel, sourdough bagel, butter top roll, plain donut--barely scratch the surface of options--but everything was SPOT ON!!!!! I was there the day before TG--don't let the long line scare you--these service people are amazing--friendly, and efficient, helpful--what looks superficially chaotic is not intimidating at all and their system works; trust me, it does!

PS there is the bogus news story from 2 years ago suggesting that the owner stole strawberries from Walmart--make sure to research the story before believing it--IT IS BOGUS. It is clearly not true and perhaps the result of a single stupidly overzealous loss-management agent at Walmart who needs a hobby. As best I can tell, the owner is a real stand up guy--did not meet him but if you hear the rumor (which I did and then researched)--it is nonsense. The follow-up story said the charges were "dropped" it should have said "Upstanding business owner falsely accused."

Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. The place is a breath of fresh air! I recommend trying the Popeye's with added cinnamon! Delicious and I feel GREAT afterwards.“

Careful on how spicy you order the dish...it can get very spicy very quickly. This is a cash pay only restaurant, so be prepared for that.

Parking is tough...because it's Shadyside. If you go for an early dinner there is never any wait.

Previously: I enjoy Dobra Tea for its diverse international teas and tasty snacks. The cozy ambiance and unique interior design are a plus, but it can get a bit too crowded and noisy during busy times, which isn't my preference. The masala chai is delicious. A great spot to chill with friends or a partner, though I'd recommend avoiding peak hours for a more relaxed experience. Overall, I'd definitely go back.“

She loves falafal wrap from Aladin.
We both are vegetarian so I can't comment on meat menu but falafal, hummas the hot souce and tea I love most.
In short I want to say food is very fresh and tasty, service is good and very Cosy friendly vibe.
The only part I didn't like is the parking situation here that stop me from giving 5 star review.“

The woman who runs the shop is very kind and has even replaced a broken gaiwan lid for me at no charge. At least 2 times I've gone I've been given samples to try out and that's a very nice gesture. One complaint is that parking is difficult on the street, but that is no fault to the shop.

Highly reccomend the jasmine dragon pearls, white silver needle jasmine, monkey picked golden hunnan, golden monkey, milk oolong, and organic TKY oolong.“

I walked in 10 minutes before closing on a Monday after traveling all day. They took pity on me and let me sit and eat like a civilized person while they started closing up. They served up a Pho Supreme in no time, and it was delicious.

Was it as good as the pho I’ve had in Hanoi and HCMC? No.

But was it as good as the pho I usually get in Elmherst, Queens, NYC? Also no.

But it was still properly spiced, clear with a touch of fat, and loaded with meat and garnish. It was the perfect meal after a long day.“

“This is my partner and I's favorite coffee shop in all of Pittsburgh. Every drink I've ordered has been delicious, and their breakfast burrito is amazing as well. Never a miss with this place. The baristas are friendly and efficient, and the owner is a great guy - friend of my partner. The atmosphere is unlike any other in the city, eclectic and maximalist, yet very cozy. There's a reason that every time we go most of the tables, indoor and outdoor, are filled up! I've recommended this place to countless people, and will continue to do so. We probably come here at least once a week, and are always looking for excuses to stop by and get a tasty drink.
