My Stromboli was excellent, Was ready when I arrived and the young lady at the register was very nice courteous and went above and beyond to answer a few questions I had. “We really wanted to like the food at this place but, to be honest, we were very disappointed. We were really hoping for real, honest to goodness gyros. Ones made in a mom and pop type shop, thinly sliced off of a vertical, flame throwing grill. Same with the perogi', which were boiled to the point of just plain old mushy. The young lady taking our order was very pleasant and earned most of the stars you see above. I can appreciate the gallant attempt at bringing new food stuff to the area, but if you are going to do that, make it authentic. We see no reason to return.”

“This Cafe is the best that I have found locally for vegan choices and delicious food. I mostly want veggies that taste good, raw and roasted and Katie has the best! Her chic pea sandwich is the best that I have ever had. Not to mention the fact that she is such a caring person.”

“I have been drinking Stoney's beer since I first turned 21 over 20 years ago and its always in my fridge. When I lived in Ruffsdale, I would go to old brewery in Smithton to stock up on Stoney's beer and Stoney's swag. So glad that Jones Brewing Company is back in the Jones family.”

“Love this restaurant. Located in an old train station which gives it a cool vibe. Food was fantastic! I started with the wedding soup which was one of the best I ever had- so good. For my meal I ordered the grilled chicken palermo which had grilled chicken, banana peppers, hot sausage, sundried tomatoes, olive oil and garlic served with linguine- it was excellent. We were a table of four and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The only reason I gave service 4 stars instead of 5 was because they asked us or rather they told us they needed our table and needed to wrap things up. I understand they were busy but as good paying customers its kinda of rude to be ask to leave while we were enjoying our time together. I have never experienced a request like that before but even so I would eat here again.”

The brightness and cleanliness appeal to the senses.Back room is a little dark for my tastes, and in summer with AC full blast, wear a jacket. But still a nice lounge area to sit and have a conversation. Cozy in a different sort of way.Finally, clean and tastefully done rest rooms. That’s how I really rate a business.”

“The food here was fantastic. We came for my boyfriends birthday dinner while in town. The wait staff was so friendly. Chef Lamar was amazing! We had the steak specials. His food was incredible and he was very attentive, constantly checking in. I come from a local bar background so finding one so far from where we live that felt like home was the icing on the cake! (Pun intended) 5 stars all around and we will definitely come back for a visit the next time we’re in town!”

“Watson Estate BnB & Deer Creek Winery was amazing! Between the food, staff/service, room, wine, views, etc. it was a beautiful experience! This was our first time at a BnB, so we did not know what to expect. To say the least, this place far exceeded our expectations! We loved the scenery and vibes that the courtyard and wrap around porch brought. The swing on the porch was our favorite part. Everything was lit up with twinkle lights and it was so romantic. We chose to stay during february, and the weather wasn’t bad, but we would love to come back during the summer/fall! Our only regret is not staying longer! We will definitely be back and will be bringing friends. Thanks for an awesome celebration for our 5.5 year dating anniversary! As two young, hardworking adults, this was the perfect escape from reality for a night. It truly makes a difference when the staff are so friendly and helpful. Thank you! -Jada”

“Lisa is great and I can't wait to go back! She made me feel welcomed, heard and comfortable. She's extremely knowledgeable, and takes care with medication interactions. That's something very important that people don't take very seriously sometimes. Herbs work well and will definitely interact with meds. She does (did at the time i was there) consultations too. I'm excited to schedule mine! I love everything I got. I bought maple syrup granules as a treat, and I love them ?!”

“Restaurant has been an icon in the area for years. Noted for good Italian food. Stopped for lunch on a cold Feb day.... It was cold inside as well... Second time recently for lunch there and second time it was cold inside. Will not go during the winter months again. Had a bowl of potato soup, it was good. Server wasn't the friendliest. Plenty of free parking and tables available. Nice cozy bar area.”

“The mushroom swiss burger was excellent. My spouse had shrimp scampi which he said was good but meal was small.... nothing served but small portion of shrimp and noodles. ( no side salad or bread) The dinner cost was too expensive . The sandwiches were well priced. Our server was excellent.”
