If you don't know about this place, you need to. This is the quintessential small town family diner. Complete with a big old counter, cute and cozy little booths and just an old timey feel. All the food we have tried is good and fresh, you can sit at the counter and watch them cook it. However, their specialty is their home made banana bread French toast. An extremely cozy diner, where you can experience a level of service that you rarely get anywhere else. The food always tastes great and the portions fill you up. Whenever I come to Souderton from Germany to visit my friends, the Souderton Family restaurant is one of my first stops. I can't wait for the next visit.

The atmosphere of this little hometown place is wonderful. Depending on the waitress, the regulars are served first even if they come in after you. Food is good and priced accordingly.There is off street parking across the street and up the hill a little ways away or behind the restaurant. The place is cash only. Always has been. There is a small sign under the cash register.
