The atmosphere of this little hometown place is wonderful. Depending on the waitress, the regulars are served first even if they come in after you. Food is good and priced accordingly. There is off street parking across the street and up the hill a little ways away or behind the restaurant. The place is cash only. Always has been. There is a small sign under the cash register.

Dined in on Valentines day 2/14/2024 for breakfast with my fiance. She ordered an omlette which looked very basic and didn't smell like there was much seasoning present, even a little hint of pepper would've been enough to bring it up a notch.I however ordered sausage, biscuits, and gravy; my go to at small family restaurants. Upon first glance I wish I could say there was hope and that it would be better than it looked, it wasn't. I loaded that plate with pepper just to give it some sort of flavor enhancement. The sausage was clumpy and not chopped into small pieces as it should be, the gravy was super thin and runny with little flavor, though the homefries weren't terrible but also could've used something to bring up the flavor profile. Will I be back? I'd say maybe, I'm moving to the Souderton area and I have hope that this little family restaurant who has served this community for decades has other menu items that will please my stomach. Until next time...

Worst experience in years. Asked how much meat was in a sandwich, was told a decent amount, I got shredded turkey with the equivalent of have a slice of turkey. Ordered wheat toast, waitress said it was, I asked the manager-cook, he said that was white and what I ordered, he asked the waitress who said I ordered wheat after she told me the white was wheat. I said can I just order something else, was told by the cook-manager that unless I paid for the wrong sandwich, I wouldn't be allowed to order anything else. Food that I did get was terrible though the soup was good. Will never come back and recommend you go somewhere else.

The hubby and I stumbled upon this cute little spot and had a nice lunch! Seems like a great spot for breakfast as well. We will be back!

If you don't know about this place, you need to. This is the quintessential small town family diner. Complete with a big old counter, cute and cozy little booths and just an old timey feel. All the food we have tried is good and fresh, you can sit at the counter and watch them cook it. However, their specialty is their home made banana bread French toast. We have to come back for it occasionally because we get a craving. I don't know of any other place that makes banana bread French toast. It's worth a trip if you are not from the town of Souderton, just to have this! It's good for breakfast or dessert!

I love Soudy fam restaurant. Food is very delish 10/10 and everyone is so nice. Carol is my favorite she makes the best French toast and scrapple

Exactly what you'd expect a family owned place should be. Food was amazing (sausage gravy was the star on my plate) and staff was kind. Will be back again soon!

Went there this morning, 8-8-23, for breakfast. I ordered their #1, which is an Egg, Sausage, Homefries & Toast. Waitress brought me my breakfast without Sausage. I pointed this out to her and she put in an order for Sausage. After 10 minutes without my Sausage, I gave her my whole, untouched plate and asked for another fresh breakfast to be made since everything on my plate was cold by then. 15 minutes later still no breakfast. I told them to forget about it and left. Won't be going back either. Stay away.
