“I loved this place!, prices were good and the food blew me away

I’m still getting used to the area but I can absolutely say that this place is worth a try!

Also the Dam Fries are to kill for but I probably should bring someone next time since I’ve got leftovers as a result“

“My husband and I went for dinner last night. The food was outstanding. I ordered off the special menu, and it did not disappoint. Our service was fantastic, and Dana always comes out and catches up with her customers. One of our favorite restaurants in town. And don't forget a charcuterie board for your special occasions. “Great place to eat, shoot pool, and enjoy trivia night. I had the jalapeno burger which was worth it, and the stromboli looked good and was massive, all for a great price. I also tried the fresh made pastries, which I believe were ginger with cream on the inside, very moist and sweet. The beer selection was decent, with plenty of IPAs to choose from.“

“If you're looking for standard bar food, this is your spot.

It's very clean. Everyone working was extremely friendly and attentive which is always a win.

Before we go any further.. it is kid friendly, but there is not a changing table so plan accordingly.

We grabbed salsa and guacamole and the salsa had a nice smoky flavor to it. The cheese was a generous portion. You know how sometimes you end up with naked pretzels, which is always a disappointment. There was more than enough and we made sure to utilize our chips so it didn't go to waste.

Everyone was happy with their sandwiches and I am not sure you can ever go wrong with housemade chips. There was a smash burger, a fish sandwich and pulled pork in the mix. A few were missing the pickled egg which was a bummer because it was definitely a unique and welcomed addition.

The side salad (I know.. a side salad, but seriously worth mentioning) was done so well. Lots of great, fresh toppings and probably enough for two people.

I can't say I'll make a special trip, but I'd likely stop back.“

“So, along with some friends my husband and I stopped by Friday(4/7) night. We would have never stopped by it wasn't for our friends suggestion. I love this "new" hole in the wall place. There are very few places my husband feels comfortable at. Southmont Gardens is now one of those places. Keep up the good work“

“I personally have never eaten inside, as I always order takeout, but I have never had a bad order! Their food is always fantastic every time! They have some of the best pizza in Johnstown! Their apps are also very delicious, such as, the sampler, and the shrimp! I was pleasantly surprised to find that their shrimp isn't popcorn shrimp, but more like a shrimp scampi with generously sized shrimp!“

“Stopped here on the way home and tried the Smoked Trio special. I'm so glad I did! The smoked brisket tasted awesome and melted like butter in your mouth. The ribs peeled off the bones just like I want them too and the smoked sausage was spicy and flavorful. I decided on the fries and these weren't your normal stick fries, they were more like very thick potato chips. Very nice twist on that. I really hope they make this special a regular menu item.“

But….they took this as an opportunity to build relationships with customers!!
