“We drove about 45 mins to try this pizza shop that was recommended to us by a few people.I will say it was worth the drive. We got a sampler of four different toppings. They were all good (meatball, seafood, cheesesteak and Italian sub) but the Italian sub was the best. We will definitely be getting that one again. Great service and great prices.”

“I absolutely love it here. The food is always delicious and fresh. The bread he makes by scratch and you can tell. The breads are not heavy and they do not have all the filler that grocery stores have. The breads are all light and flakey. The asiago bagels are amazing!!! The smash burgers are the best around. Family atmosphere. Everyone is so polite, personable, and friendly. I go at least once a week. Amazing breakfast and lunch spot. Casual meetings or friends meeting, the perfect place.”

“As fairly new residents of Johnstown, we found out about Scott's by Dam through co-workers who raved about the food. They were right. Everything we had was great. The menu has a lot to offer. The place isn't big by any stretch of the imagination but as soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted like old friends by Scott. He came by our table to check on us several times during our meal and cracked some jokes and interacted with all of his customers. What was especially endearing was the way he interacted with a mom and her young daughter who came in to pickup an order to go. They were obviously regulars and Scott leaned down and handed the little girl a bag of potato chips and she lit up. Scott and his wife are huge supporters of the Johnstown Tomahawks so it's nice to have a local family owned business that cares about the community. We will definitely be back!”

“Everyone should have a coffee spot...and this is a honey! Good location, looks out across Gazebo Park. Eclectic vibe, vintage typewriter motif is FUN! Baristas are creative AND friendly whatta combo. They brew a lovely cuppa as well Friendly fellow coffee-niks not intrusive...had a chat then settled in to read a bit. Lots of room to work in the back. Menu varies so it's always interesting. Try it...you'll like it ?”

This is an Exquisite Johnstown Pennsylvania dining experience.”

“The only worker I seen in the establishment was manning the cash register and cooking and still managed to remain extremely kind and friendly, even when we had no idea what we wanted to order and changed our minds several times. We forgot to mention we wanted these yummy fried chips were used to getting as an appetizer from our regular place before we paid but instead of charging us for them he just threw them in for free and also insisted we grab a couple drinks on the house. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience at a Chinese place before, and in my experience the workers at most places like this tend to be unfriendly and even rude. The best part was by far the food though! It was HOT, fresh, and hands down the absolute BEST Chinese food I’ve ever eaten (might not mean much coming from a scrawny gal like myself but I used to be 300+ lbs and trust me, I’ve eaten my fair share of Chinese cuisine ???) I got the sesame chicken which is my usual order no matter where I go but THIS HIT SOOO DIFFERENT. And I’ll leave you with one final note; ORDER EXTRA EGG ROLLS, trust me, you’ll regret it if you don’t… we didn’t and we said multiple times throughout the evening that we wished we had more!”

“Wow! What a wonderful restaurant! I live in Atlanta and it can be hard to find a great Jamaican restaurant in my town of 9 million. But, look no further Johnstown residents! I could not decide between the j*** chicken and the oxtails. So, I got both! Each one was fall off the bone tender and the juices soaked up the rice.And, the collards and the cabbage are outstanding. I am not sure what the secret ingredient is in each vegetable, but they are very tasty.I will try a vegetable plate next time as I will try the other vegetables too.This is a very welcome addition to the community. I would definitely recommend Island Cuisine Restaurant.Vegetarian options: Very full of flavor!”

“This is my go to ice cream place for sure! They have so many choices to choose from. One of my favorites is probably the (Philadelphia water ice) it is has i think 6 flavors or more, and the texture is so unique. An other thing I really like is the upside down banana split. The portion size for it is amazing, one person could not eat all of it at one time that's how huge it is, but over all I would definitely recommend this place!”

“The Craft section is the smaller side, it's the bar side.....but the food is excellent and I like that there is outside seating in the summer. We had great service when there was a misunderstanding with our seating arrangement, they were very accommodating. I will go there to eat again.”

“My go to for new places is always a chicken salad sandwich, and I must say I give the flood city cafe the credit for having the best. The sandwich tasted homemade and the croissant was beyond crispy but also the right amount of fresh. The macaroni could use more cheese but also tasted very fresh and homemade. Lastly the ice coffee we got was a 10/10. I’ve tried a lot of coffee and yet again, this coffee would probably be one of my favorites I’ve ever tried. Definitely recommend stopping by. Great energy from staff and beautiful cafe.”

“Every time I visit Jtown I have to stop here and get soft shell tacos and a glass of Jtown Brown. Only issue is the space is very small, around 4 tables and seating at the bar. Took me awhile to realize "Craft Modern Kitchen" next door has the same menu and drinks available, with a lot more seating. Everything I've had so far is absolutely delicious. I wish they'd open a branch in Altoona. Whenever I visit I get extra tacos to take home to reheat later in the air fryer. They're magic in your mouth.”

“The Steakhouse Special is phenomenal. Cooked to order, the 16-ounce carnivore's delight is truly special. I enjoyed the chicken and dumplings soup as a starter, then followed that with a great salad with a feta dressing. Onion rings were better than average, and the twice baked potato wasn't embarrassed to accompany the juicy steak. I will return and strongly suggest you make a visit when in the area.”
