“This morning, as I was on my way to work, I had a little bit of time to grab a cup of coffee before catching my train. I came across this quaint cafe and decided to check it out. I am so glad that I did. Not only did I get a cup of coffee but I also got an egg & cheese sandwich on a croissant. My breakfast was absolutely amazing. The croissant was buttery and fresh. “This is a take-out restaurant and is one of our favorites! Everything we have had is fantastic. Our favorites are the burrata sandwich, the fajita burrito, any of their bowls and soups. “This place is always clean, fast, and offers the best quality smoothies of anywhere around that I can find. The employees are warm and friendly and always know what they're doing. I get the Twigs and Berries which is a banana and strawberry smoothie and I am always blown away by how amazingly delicious they are. Only reason I won’t return is because of the customer service; we were not greeted by either cashier upon entry despite it only being us in the store, (only glares and whispers?) and the young girl cashier couldn’t even look away from her phone long enough to make eye contact with me while handing me my receipt. I guess her Snapchat was more important. I’d suggest that whoever manages this location pays more attention to the way their employees treat customers.“

“My husband and I had been searching for a local breakfast spot for years and have been disappointed by all the area diners. I heard about 2nd St Pike Grill through my high school alumni group. May sound odd to some but shout out to CHS and go there if you're an alum reading this! Anyway...I saw eggs benedict. I can't count the times I've been left sad or questioned how the hollandaise was prepared. OMG my taste buds were so happy! My husband, one of the pickiest eaters on Earth demolished his potatoes saying this is the first time he ever had perfect potatoes. Atmosphere is chic and cozy. The staff is superb, attentive, and personable. We've been coming back just about every weekend now. One more thing - when you go, treat yourself to the most perfect omelet, ever.“
