I did call about the brownie—the manager, Mike, immediately took responsibility for the missing brownie. Within 15 minutes, Mike arrived at my work with not only a brownie but a new salad with double chicken. This is amazing service!! And certainly above and beyond my expectations. And I loved that there was lots of fresh basil. The cheesesteak was good. We love a seeded roll and well seasoned ribeye. However, the one drawback for me is that they don't have long hot peppers! Verona is still an excellent spot. If I absolutely need a long hot pepper cheesesteak, I'll go to Del Rossi's in Philly. We over heard someone picking up take out say that it was the best sushi he’s had and it was true. The price was great too. One plate of fried rice was enough to satisfy 2 people and then had about 18 pieces of sushi in total. Once finished, it didn’t make you feel sluggish and gross after eating. The stir-fried shrimp with noodles was delicious, and the fruit topped it off perfectly. I enjoyed every bite. Valencia took great care of me and even called me by name, which meant a lot. She also made sure I was comfortable with how my food was packed.

“Super friendly staff! I usually DoorDash their food but I was in the area and decided to stop in and was warmly greeted and pleasantly helped when placing my order. Everyone has a smile on their face 10/10 customer service.
Super clean place also!
Food is amazing I love their Sriracha tahini sauce, I wish they had it all year round.
I do think it’s silly they don’t take cash tips, they should have a little tip container i paid for my order cash and couldn’t leave a tip.

“New local halal food spot located on Cottman Ave near Castor Ave by the Sunoco gas station. Reasonably priced fresh food platters with a variety of tasty choices to choose from some as low as $5! $5 is a great price for those on a budget. I got the Mac and cheese/ fried chicken combo and the sauce it comes with is so yummy! It was pretty good. Also got the fish over rice with the garlic sauce it comes with a small salad as well. Fish was lightly breaded and cooked well. I will visit this spot again for sure to try out the other menu items!“

“The pizza was fantastic. I do believe this is mainly for takeout, but there are tables inside. The place was very clean even behind the counter. The special ordered pizza came out really fast. I think it came out less than 10 minutes after we ordered it. It was cooked to perfection. The staff was also friendly and clean. It is conveniently located next to the Mercer museum and we walked to it in about 2 minutes from the museum parking lot. My only complaint is that the dining area is more of an afterthought. But I also have to say, I did notice the cast metal table legs. Nice touch!“
