“Corropolese Italian Bakery in Audubon is one of those places you walk into and instantly know you’re about to get something good. The smell alone—fresh bread, tomato sauce, and pastries—hits you before you even get to the counter. Their tomato pie is a local legend for a reason—it’s simple but perfect, with that sweet sauce and soft crust that keeps you coming back. The fresh hoagie rolls and Italian loaves are top-notch too; you can taste the difference compared to store-bought bread.
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, grab a few cannoli or cookies—they’re fresh, delicious, and make a great treat to bring home. The service is always friendly, and the place runs like a well-oiled machine even when there’s a line. I love that it still feels like a family-run bakery even though it’s become pretty popular. Definitely worth a stop if you’re anywhere near Audubon—you won’t leave empty-handed!“

“My in-laws are from Paris and have very high standards for their patisserie. We came up from dc to celebrate our son’s birthday and needed cake and fast! He wanted a fraisier and a chocolate cake. Miraculously they had both. They were AMAZING! Even my in-laws said the cakes were “super bons et très beaux!” Merci!!!“

“My mom got a raspberry pound cake for my wife’s baby shower this last week. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Cake was absolutely beautiful but better yet was how it tasted. “We used Brooklyn Girl Bakery for a bridal shower cake. It was fantastic. The cake itself was visually stunning and perfect for the theme. Since we had two tiers, we were able to get two different flavors. The top was banana with traditional buttercream and the bottom was chocolate chip and chocolate filling. We did the smaller banana because we weren’t sure how it was go over with our group and guests were literally fighting to get the last piece. The banana cake will definitely be a birthday favorite in our family for years to come!“
“Don't let the somewhat outdated/sketchy ordering and pickup process scare you away. Legitimately the best pies my husband or I have ever eaten. We got the French apple and lemon chess for Pi Day. So tangy, delicious, and moist. Mrs. T is genuinely the sweetest human. 10/10 recommend.“
