50 Best Pizza Restaurants near Spring House

“I used to frequent Altomeo’s pizza in Wayne, PA a long time ago as it was near my office. When I first started going, I noticed lots of people ordering tomato pie. I never understood why anyone for opt for pizza WITHOUT cheese…until I tried it. Their tomato was amazing. My girlfriend’s family are from Italy and make their own sauce from fresh plum tomatoes. They loved it, too. Eventually, my office moved and when I went back to get a pizza, Altomeo’s was gone! I was devastated. I tried to find out if they moved to no avail. Fast forward to 2023 and I was determined to find out what happened. I stumbled across an article mentioning that Tony Roni’s is their new place. I stopped in and wasn’t disappointed. The crust of the new tomato pie seems thinner than I remember (but I could be wrong). This is addressed by getting a Sicilian pizza with extra plum tomato sauce and no cheese…PERFECT! I frequently order from here even though they are not near me. The staff is always friendly and their other pizzas are good, too, especially the BBQ chicken pizza. But, you HAVE to try the tomato pie. ?“

“Back in the 90”s Mary & Hamdy were like family to me. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work in such a great environment with two of my favorite people! “We loved the delicious pizza! My favorite is the funghi. My boyfriend loved the hot honey pepperoni. The little pepperoni and the whipped ricotta were perfect on that pizza. And I loved that there was lots of fresh basil. The cheesesteak was good. We love a seeded roll and well seasoned ribeye. However, the one drawback for me is that they don't have long hot peppers! Verona is still an excellent spot. If I absolutely need a long hot pepper cheesesteak, I'll go to Del Rossi's in Philly. The staff at Verona were super friendly and nice and patient with us while we figured out what we wanted. We will definitely be back! Thank you“

“What an amazing surprise!! We called EVERYWHERE in Doylestown trying to get prices to cater a backyard wedding of over 70. We called Giovanni‘s on state the week of our wedding and they were not only able to accommodate, but they were the easiest to work with and the most affordable. Then to our surprise the food was phenomenal. Not a single complaint other than I should have ordered more meatballs and chicken cutlets. The BEST in town. We’ll be back!“

“Stopped in for lunch expecting to grab a couple of slices, but learned they don't serve by the slice—so I went with a personal pie instead. The pizza was solid: plenty of cheese, good sauce, and a nice balance overall. Staff was friendly. I’ll consider trying one of their sandwiches next time I stop by, they look good. “We ordered takeout for a family gathering and had an outstanding experience. We had dietary restrictions that Peppino's easily and correctly accommodated. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered Peppino's famous tomato pie, the upside down pizza loaded with fresh toppings, Peppino's awesome Italian hoagie and a juicy Roast Pork sandwich. Every bite was delicious. I highly recommend Peppino's to anyone searching for great Italian pizza and sandwiches in a welcoming, local shop.“

“I met Marcello and Kiley the week before and New Hope and they invited us to come and have dinner this weekend. We went on Friday and had the back room basically to ourselves there was 10 of us. The food service was outstanding! Came and spoke with us several times, the chef came out, and said hello, our waitress Heather was absolutely incredible so efficient, and yet so loving! we were spoiled rotten! Everyone took home so much food because the portions were enormous. The prices were totally reasonable. I highly recommend the Sunday sauce unlike any spaghetti dinner I’ve ever had in my life, including my trips to Italy.! Thank you, Heather, Pablo, and especially Marcello!“

“So my dad was born in 1959. He grew up in north wales, I did not. I was born and raised in southern delaware. My dad would bring me up to north wales as a child when he was a single parent and he would ride me all around and show me all types of things. One of the mandatory stops though was always Tony’s pizza, not only was the pizza/food absolutely amazing, you could tell they had been doing it right for a long time, but my dad had not lived in pa for nearly 2 decades and he could walk into this place and they would not only recognize him, they would come from behind the counters, hug/hand shake with him, sometimes even sit down and chat with us for a moment at our table. This is a down to earth, family oriented, pizza joint that does what they do best… FOOD & HOSPITALITY!!! Thanks for always making my dad’s day when we would walk into your shop. “I’ve been coming to Cosimo’s since 2007, and it’s still my favorite lunch spot in Chestnut Hill. The food is always fresh and delicious. I love the Meat Lovers and Chicken & Broccoli pizzas, the Santa Fe Salad, and those soups? So comforting. Their fries are hands-down the best in town.

It’s a warm, family-owned place with kind folks and a welcoming vibe. I’ve brought friends, co-workers, and my kids here over the years, even my grown kids still rave about the cheesesteak!

“I moved to PA from NYC 20 years ago and had pretty much given up hope of ever finding good NY-style pizza in the area. I just tried the grandma and grandpa style pizzas and they were AMAZING. The crust was thin and crispy, there was a lot of flavorful sauce, and the cheese was gooey. Pizza perfection!“

“Select is a very nice addition to Warrington. I've visited three tines; twice with my husband who loves the chicken tenders and shrimp and lobster bisque, and with friends. I enjoyed the pancakes and my friends enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles. The food has been consistently flavorful. I ordered the rice bowl with salmon. The portion size was generous, but the salmon was a bit overcooked. The cocktails are varied and absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The servers have been friendly and attentive. I enjoy the Cage (bar area). It's a fun and cozy atmosphere for adults. I plan to return, soon. I love the place!“
