“I used to frequent Altomeo’s pizza in Wayne, PA a long time ago as it was near my office. When I first started going, I noticed lots of people ordering tomato pie. I never understood why anyone for opt for pizza WITHOUT cheese…until I tried it. Their tomato was amazing. My girlfriend’s family are from Italy and make their own sauce from fresh plum tomatoes. They loved it, too. Eventually, my office moved and when I went back to get a pizza, Altomeo’s was gone! I was devastated. I tried to find out if they moved to no avail. Fast forward to 2023 and I was determined to find out what happened. I stumbled across an article mentioning that Tony Roni’s is their new place. I stopped in and wasn’t disappointed. The crust of the new tomato pie seems thinner than I remember (but I could be wrong). This is addressed by getting a Sicilian pizza with extra plum tomato sauce and no cheese…PERFECT! I frequently order from here even though they are not near me. The staff is always friendly and their other pizzas are good, too, especially the BBQ chicken pizza. But, you HAVE to try the tomato pie. ?“

“We celebrated our 21st anniversary at Chef Max’s counter on a Friday night. Words cannot describe how amazing the experience is at the chefs counter. There is so much love and art put into every meal. Not only is the food amazing and taste out of this world, the experience watching the process is equally entertaining. “Charcoal grills, absolutely delightful and tasty food - probably the best most authentic Korean bbq place in entire Philly/NJ. Not fancy but homey (you can tell and taste that all the value goes into the food and service, not fancy decor nor premium location) and down to the earth with fantastic service - galbi (secret menu), skirt steak, egg custard, kimchi pancakes (if you like some spice) are to die for. A local Korean staple for decades.

They don’t take reservations so show up early and hungry. Usually there is parking in the parking lot or street side near the restaurant.“

“We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in September 2024. We had about 50 people and were able to rent out the entire indoor space. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. We actually had a difficult time hitting the minimum at the end of the night! We highly recommend hosting your private party at Chestnut Hill Brewing!“

“My husband & I were on our way to a Phillies game yesterday when it got postponed. The next exit off the NE Extension was Harleysville to turn around. I hopped on Yelp! and found Jesse’s - we wanted to eat before heading back home to Berks County. We are SO glad we did! The BEST BBQ ever!! The staff was super friendly & helpful with recommendations, since it was our first time. We went with the BBQ Sampler & added cornbread muffins with honey butter. EVERYTHING was delicious! I’m, personally, not a lover of ribs…they might have been my favorite!!! Looks like we have a new place to stop when we are heading to Phillies games!!! Or we need to find reasons to go to Souderton so we can get to Jesse’s more often!!“
