“It was alright, no complaints other than the sandwich being under seasoned. I heard a lot about this place but can't say it lived up to expectations. Not that it dissapointed either, just fell somewhere in the middle for me. Maybe I just visited on an off day but for the price I don't think I'd go back.“

“This is much more affordable than Queen and Rook in terms of board game cafes. There weren't many food options that I cared for. And one of my mates that I came with got some very rubbery chicken. However they remedied that situation so service points went up. Not as many game choices as Q&R but still fun.“

“Wowww!! The pizza is so fresh & flavorful!! The dough & sauce were delicious. Pizzas are small only 12’ I’m assuming its because they have a smaller oven but definitely the best pizza in Chestnut Hill by far! Check this place out!“

“CBC has become a staple in the community. Since their opening, their presence as a location where you can ALWAYS find something great to eat coupled with cool employees has always been felt. Love the location, vibe, and most importantly the food. Please keep up the great work and adding great items to the ever growing menu.“

“We had our Dad’s 70th birthday party in the room downstairs last weekend, and everything worked out so well! Kristina was wonderful with answering all of my questions (I had a LOT, lol), and the party went off without a hitch! They even managed to put a slideshow of pictures up on one of the TV’s for everyone to view, which I very much appreciated. The food was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and Shannon, our bartender, was amazing! Highly recommend booking the space if you’re looking to hold a party!“

“We had my husband’s surprise 30th birthday party and not only was the staff wonderful, the space was perfect! The best thing was that it’s not just beer. We knew the guest list would include people who may not drink beer so having coffee, tea, & soda options for others made this the perfect location. Thank you DOTF! We will be back 👏🏽👏🏽“

“Great neighborhood eatery. We sat outside with the dogs, the server brought a bowl of water for them. The salmon burger and the chicken sandwich were very good, a plentiful serving size, and the fries were well seasoned. Server and hostess were both very friendly!“

“Drove by Springfield Ale House a bunch of times before ever going in. We have been there twice in the last few weeks and I could kick myself for waiting so long to go in. Can’t wait to go back. Good selection of beers on tap and some excellent cocktails as well as a great food menu.“
