“This place is always packed so i stopped in to check it out. Really glad i did, inside was jumping, waitresses walking quickly from the kitchen to the tables. People sitting at tables and boths eating and smiling. The food was good, not just okay, but really good. I could see why the patking lot was always full. Top notch service too, just a bunch of happy workers greeting customers that appeared to be friends or regulars. What a really nice place. She forgot a couple items but was well spoken and sincere. We and others could easily see how much she was challenged. A big crowd came in right away. “Let me start by saying don't go in here expecting a traditional restaurant experience. This is an old school, fast paced, self-serve/take-out style diner that is CASH ONLY (has an ATM). That, however, is EXACTLY what I want for good breakfast on a busy weekday morning. And good doesn't begin to describe it. Staff are a well oiled machine used to a very busy fast-paced environment who are there to get your order, give you your food, and let you move on with your day.
Now the food. Let me say, it isn't hard to make good home fries, but these were AMAZING. Onions and peppers in perfectly made home fries with perfect consistency and a taste to die for. No need to season them as they were perfectly seasoned. In my almost 41 years of life, these are the best damned home fries I've ever had! My eggs were made perfectly over medium with wonderful runny yolk like I love them and were wonderfully flavorful. Sausage patties were delicious as well, partner got pancakes that were fluffy and sweet even before the butter and syrup. Excellent diner, fast service. For anyone that likes this kind of place, it is up there for best ever!“

Parking: Lots of street space. Busy street w lots of tow-trucks and salvage yards. Can lark in front of Gourmay and keep an eye on your car if you want.“

“My husband and I stopped here for a bite to eat on our way home from New Jersey. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our waitress was kind and prompt. She brought coffee and water quickly and our food followed shortly after. I had an omelet with turkey sausage, onions, peppers, and cheese added. My husband had a western omelet. The only minor, silly critique I have is that the pepper don’t come out of the shaker all that well, but again that’s a minor issue. If you’re in the area, we highly recommend!“
