Coffee Hemp & Tea is a mom and pop artisanal coffee shop. It is run by Angel and his family who also grow the hemp and produce the hemp products they sell. They also have personal relationships with the coffee farmers from whom they import their beans and try to import beans that are not often sold in the US, so it all has a very personal feel to it! That's not something you will find at any other coffee shop in State College.On top of all that, they have pastries and the usual coffee shop fare for sale. Board games, books, and comfy seating inside, with an outdoor area + tent to enjoy your beverage outside.

This morning I finally tried this place after seeing it pop up behind my apartment and I wish I had discovered it weeks ago. The flavor options are so unique AND delicious. The care with which my coffee was made was such an awesome way to start my day. I got the strawberry shortcake ice coffee and it was delicious. The coffee was so good and the homemade syrups were just the cherry on top. Everyone needs to know about this place!!

This is my new favorite spot in State College. The drinks and pastries are delicious. We were helped by a lovely employee who not only provided great recommendations but made us feel warm and welcome on our first visit! I encourage everyone to drop in and try the passion fruit tea!

I wish I could give this place 20 stars!!! Best coffee I've ever had; they have such a unique and phenomenal drink menu and the food is awesome, too! I had the strawberry cheesecake coffee. They really went above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, including a phone charger available for patrons, books to read, jigsaw puzzles to work on, and fantastic customer service! You have to stop in and see the most adorable decorative crochet coffee cup plushies. Climate controlled and indoor and outdoor seating. Super reasonable prices. Definitely a gem you can't afford to pass up!

With an expansive menu sure to please coffee and tea drinkers of every stripe, extremely pleasant and friendly service, and a downright cozy location and atmosphere, everything about CH&T is great. Make sure you try their rotating special drinks, which bring a lot of fun and flair to the menu!
I can't say enough great things about this place! It's all here: phenomenal products, a customer-centric atmosphere, and fantastic service. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. The owners have puzzles and books out for customers to relax and spend their time as well as a phone charger. They definitely excel at the small details to make a memorable experience. Don't pass on this gem!!!

We stopped in this week and had a great experience! Angel and Nia have really crafted a great gem here in State College. We tried the Strawberry Cheesecake Iced Coffee, a Snickerdoodle Iced Tea, their juice, and a guava pastry. Everything was so good we finished it all before we remembered to take pictures. All of the flavors were perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. They use Commonplace Coffee Beans for their drinks, something I love being an IUP alum. Go support this store, it's a real hidden gem
