“Can only access from N. Atherton. Not a fan of metal music, but not loud enough to be obnoxious. Cheesesteak hoagie was tasty, soft roll. Could be hotter but cooked thru. Just the right amount of filling. Fries, fresh cut and hot. Not too busy (was just after 1 pm) so prompt service and receipt of food. Worth the stop.“

Let me start off by saying that, and preface further by saying I'm here nearly daily.The people that run this place, Eric, Jeff and Sheila, are some of the most genuine individuals you will find in Bellefonte. They have come through for people time and time again and would give you the shirts off of their backs without even knowing you.There have been times I was broke and came in and they were more than happy to help me, no questions asked. We've bonded over our shared situations and they've been grateful to have me, even when I'm not able to do my part as a customer right then, or if I can't tip fully.This place is the place to go for food done right, and a homely atmosphere with individuals that couldn't be happier to see you.“
“Okay, it's a hotdog shack and if you don't like hotdogs you have no business being here. But it is an ideal spot to grab a quick lunch while fishing the fantastic trout streams in the area. I have not been here for several years and was very glad to see that Mr Hotdog was still open and serving their fantastic Texas dogs. Great staff including a friendly waitress and a owner who is a solid guy that chatted with me about the troubles of the world for a good 20 minutes. “I have these almost everyday! Personally I order 6 unsalted pretzels and the container, about 8-12oz. CINNAMON SUGAR DIP! Yes! PEOPLE get it! You won't regret it. IT'S HEAVENLY!
