Subway in State College

“Passing through the area we randomly arrived at this Subway. Didn't realize that it would be right across the street from the university. We were a bit pensive that Subway would be packed with students, but at 2 o'clock I guess they were still in their classrooms because the restaurant was almost empty. Walking in we noticed how clean/spotless this place was. Kudos to the staff for that. We ordered our favorite sandwiches and sat down to eat. While we were eating, one of the employees stopped by our table and asked if everything was good and if we need anything else. That NEVER happens in any of the other Subways in which we've eaten from coast to coast. We did get a good chuckle when he commented that we were the oldest people he's seen inside this Subway in a looooooong time 8-) I would estimate that my wife and I have eaten at Subway across the US north to south and east to west well over 200 times during our travels, and we really love the consistency of quality, ambiance and taste at every Subway except for one that we have been to. Can't say that about any other chain food establishment. That's why we always seek out mom & pop places for breakfast and dinner, but head to Subway if we decide we need a sandwich in the middle of the day.“

“Had a really great experience at Subway today! The place was clean, service was quick, and everything tasted fresh. What stood out the most was the two employees working there — they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. They handled everything efficiently while still being polite and attentive. It made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely coming back!“

“My sandwich was great, but I'm writing this review because the manager there really cared about the food. He remade someones whole sandwich for them before they could ask simply because of something like the sandwich being over toasted. And they were very nice.“

“Subway had been my goto convenience meal for years. My favorite of all in the franchise is in Northland Shopping Center. A young lady works there who is an absolute gem! She is pleasant, personable, and perfect every time. I can count on getting a satisfying, nutritious sandwich, and l have NEVER been disappointed. I am always amazed with how proficient she is and she can actually make my order, including all the goodies l like to pile on, from memory. I can always count on her making my visit to this store a pleasant experience.“

“I got the teriyaki chicken 6” sub with the chip and soda combo. It was very quick, the man taking my order was incredibly nice and then the lady who did the payment complimented my hat and was just incredibly sweet! I hope they both have an amazing Christmas!

The food was excellent— one of the best subs I’ve had. Two of the sodas in the drink machine were out of order, but that was labeled and I still had options. They were out of lays original chips, but this was also the rush before Christmas Eve; I don’t blame them! Those were the only issues I came across.

The tables and floor were clean and I had great service and amazing food!“
