“My family and I ate here today for the first time. The gentleman at the front counter was Extremely helpful. The food was delicious. The BC sauce is really good. It has a nice kick but isn’t spicy as I can’t eat spicy foods. Their homemade ranch is to die for it was so delicious. I got the three piece tender platter. The chicken was so good and the fries were cooked perfectly as well 10 out of 10 would recommend and plan on eating there anytime that I’m in the area“

“Honestly my favorite place to get dinner from in State College. Expect some occasional issues with wait and other minor service problems, but the food is pretty much always worth it.
They seem to be slowly ironing out all the issues as time goes on, and management seems to respond well to feedback.“

The girl was extremely helpful behind the counter and and basically led me down the the counter and asked me what I wanted in my tortilla bowl. “You could tell they were understaffed. I had to pull around and wait for the worker to bring out my order. Cool, just vibing in my car. This kid was working so hard taking orders at the window and running food outside on a very chilly day. The other 2 people working, made that food so fire! The second I put that chicken chalupa in my mouth... if I was arguing with my S.O. and I took a bite of that, what fight? It was that good. So props to that small team for being fantastic.“

“The usual tasty food, prepared quickly. Workers were super efficient. They served our family of 5 within minutes. Plenty of seating and a high chair is available, too. Be prepared for on-street parking with meters, though. One negative on this visit: loud music playing right where we ordered...had to raise our voices to order. “I haven't been here in years, but we always swore that this Papa John's tasted better than any other we had been to. There's something about it that's different. We went here for years when visiting my grandma - it was our favorite place. There's a window on the side of the building that allows you to go outside and look in and watch them make the whole pizza every step of the way, which is pretty much the coolest thing ever as a kid, and honestly, even as an adult lol.
One time, when my brother was very young, he was playing with a toy truck at the window sill outside the restaurant as we were watching the pizza making process.
The manager/owner/maybe just an employee waved to us and smiled at us and engaged with us through the window. When we got home and ate our delicious pizza we realized my brother had left his truck on the window sill. The next day we went back to check if it was still there and the same pizza guy had it sitting on the counter waiting for us. The fact that he noticed it, went outside and retrieved it, and remembered us and had it waiting for us, was all so sweet, and above and beyond, and shows you what kind of a place this joint is.“

The guy who took my order was genuinely beautiful- good job panda for hiring sexy employees- steamy broccoli more like steamy workers- then he HAND delivered it to me - woah they will be seeing me soon and not just for the food 😉 ( ps. “Bigger inside than it looks from outside. Plenty of seating, and a high chair. Entrance is in the front facing the street, but you park on the side. Chicken straps were hard and sauce was squishing out of the tacos. Someone in the back needs more training.“
