“Without question the best food I’ve probably ever eaten. I am writing this review with a full belly and a fulfilled feeling. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. The woman whose name I wish I had caught made wonderful recommendations and even had a laugh at my boyfriend with me. (He picked a basic chicken meal) sorry to her husband, but I agree the chili sauce added to our ceviche elevated the taste. Not a single dish was even close to being simply “okay.” Do not sleep on this place. The only downside is that I live 2.5 hours away and was only visiting.”

A great business model with a true sense of running a successful business while serving awesome sandwiches, soups, breakfast 8 am, using fresh ingredients and a kitchen staff eager to prepare great food. One cheesesteak, sauce on side, on a fresh semolina roll, substantial meat, cheesy with nice flavors. The Italian sub, piled high with select Boars Head meats on same seeded roll was so big, it satisfied my hearty appetite. The chili and crab soup were totally delicious, well seasoned and hearty. At $6.99 for 12 ounces (bowl), they both satisfied us as an appetizer or lunch. The soups change daily! It was a delight talking to the owner who takes much pride in the 7 month old deli. I’m happy they landed in this part of the Poconos for residents and travelers to enjoy! We’ll definitely return to try the pizza and a pork Etta sandwich. Open every day but Sunday.”

“We loved the food at the Tom X pub! It was delicious The cons; the bartenders during the day are MIA and the place was dead. Not one occasion, BUT two. And two different bartenders. One bartender forgot numerous items we ordered. Another time, a bartender was doing shots with customers at the bar. It’s a shame because the food is so good, but due to the lack of good service, we probably won’t be back.”
