“We Finally made it after seeing all the post online. Would first like to say the staffing was amazing in answering any questions prior to ordering also letting us sample the brisket before adding It to the burger ( it was excellent ). The dry rub ribs and homemade BBQ Sauce is BY FAR the best I’ve had anywhere in PA or in my life actually. It wasn’t until we were leaving we found out the staff( Kenya , Marquis and Nigeria ) were not part of the ownership . That’s how much pride and they took into the establishment ( hard to find now a days )…So the owner did great choosing his staffing !. Between the service and food we will gladly be spending our hard earned money here over and over again ..Place is a hidden gem in a small town that people need to make the trip for .. You won’t be disappointed“
“Discovered this locally owened business and highly recommend! Ordered beef brisket and pulled pork; there were two sauce choice, BBQ and mustard, recommend the mustard. Both entrees were smoky, tender, and flavorful. The pork had a nice bark on it. The collard greens were delightfully spicy and the brussel sprouts were crisp with a surprising vinegar dressing. Acoustic guitar from 7pm to 9pm was awesome, as was the beer list...a dozen beers on draft.Highly recommend and will return!“

Uncle Rick.....my husband and I stood in line yesterday at the Soul Food Fest in Market Square for about an hour.....You personally came through and thanked us for waiting.....You added that we wouldn't be disappointed!!! “Stopped by here on a whim and didn't disappoint. Staff are inviting, funny, and friendly. The wings are NOT fried and are essentially oven baked in a pizza oven. The char is perfect on them and cooked nicely. French fries are fresh cut and not frozen from a bag. Charge you a $1 for dipping sauce for wings which was fine because it's a large cup and not skimpy. I got Genetal Jake's and Origjal hot. Flavor of both was delicious. Next time I'll get a little bit hotter as their pretty mild, at least to me. General Jake's was good, seems like it may have a soy sauce base? I personally like soy sauce so NBD. They do have wing night on Tues with .75 bone in wings. Also there's 8 beer coolers to choose from if your thirsty and 2 on tap. All in all, enjoyed all of it.“

“The food was great! I got a fish sand and a salad. Better half got pulled pork and tuna and she loved it. We will definitely be back. Went back had fish and a burger and fries and it was great, love this place! Back again and man the fish is delicious, I'll be sorry to see lent go.“
