“I love everything about this place. The desserts are wonderful. A custom cake can be done with no hassle and always looks and tastes great, but really, one of the things that stands out for me is that they don't ask for a tip, even though it may be well deserved. I assume they are paid well for their positions and I appreciate that from the owners. Because everywhere you go you are forced into tipping. I spend a lot here and have no problem with that.I just appreciate no tipping.“

“Gobs, Gobs, Gobs! We visited to sample all flavors of gobs and the burnt almond torte they are known for. The bakery did not disappoint. Everything was so delicious. The only problem is now finding a place in Chicago (my home) that can fill my gob cravings!“

But the owner decided they weren’t busy enough that evening so they called me an hour before and canceled on me. I scrambled to find somewhere for my 10-year-old daughter and I to go After her school dance. I called this place and they said “don’t worry about anything, come on in and we’ll take care of you.” We ended up chatting with some other customers and the staff. It was great. My daughter was all smiles the whole time. The dining room is super small and very intimate. Everybody’s friendly, the owner was great, and the chef was awesome. definitely put this place on your list of places to try. Support local!“

“We order out regularly here bc they are consistent! Food is always fresh and good (shrimp and peppers delicious and crab Rangoon the best around town). Once I couldn’t get out of car and owner brought order out to me. Prices very reasonable too“

One thing I look at when going to eat is the quality of service. She did hit the mark and gave good service. It's nice to have a waitress ask questions and smile when doing so.
