Probably the best we've ever had! He had gnocchi with bolognese and I had the nonnas Sunday special with spaghetti, meatballs, sausage and braciole. Anna and Marie were wonderful and accommodating and we couldn't have had a better experience. Finished off with cannoli and cappuccino. Have not tasted better connoli!“

Service is friendly and average waiting time for food because they are busy. It's a BYOB but we seldom drink so that is not an issue for us. Love the oldies they play.“

The pizza oven is different than the traditional pizza places, this one uses a carousel that spins the pizzas like a carousel. “This restaurant is a true gem!! Two friends and I ate here on Saturday night to celebrate a birthday and could not be happier. The inside is on the smaller side which made it very cozy. The menu is large and has some thing for everyone. The waitress was excellent. She explained that the restaurant was BYOB, had suggestions for specials, and what came with the entrées since it was our first time there. The portion size was perfect. Everyone in our group ordered a different chicken entrée that was absolutely delicious and it came with a small salad , a slice of bruschetta, and a homemade bread with amazing dipping oil. Every part of the meal was excellent !!! Since we were celebrating a birthday, the waitress surprised us with three slices of a limoncello cake and sang happy birthday. Everything about this experience was a 10 out of 10 we will definitely be back!! I almost forgot the best part, meeting Frank! He's the owner and very engaging. It was nice to see him in the restaurant checking on his customers to make sure everything was okay and that we were enjoying our dining experience. “Such a fabulous market with many specialty items and a really nice gluten free section. The gluten free pasta far exceeds the brands sold at larger grocery stores. Now onto the main event…the cheesesteak!! Simply delicious…the ribeye was seasoned perfectly and the ratio of onions and Cooper sharp was spot on. All of that deliciousness was on a fantastic seeded roll. Being a resident of Bethlehem, I can’t wait for Mercatino Italiano to open its shop here. “Really kind staff and yummy breakfast! We've ordered delivery a few times for breakfast because I saw that they offer gluten-free options. Gluten free is not listed on the delivery app menus but I took a chance ordering pancakes and adding a note requesting gluten free. I figured if they sent regular pancakes my husband could just eat them. Not only was it not an issue, but they clearly labeled the food for us as well. I've ordered gluten free pancakes and Belgian waffles with no problem and it has been really nice as a treat once in a while, esp. since most places in our area don't offer gluten free versions. I thought they had gluten free muffins as well and ordered them, opting to just refund if they didn't have them. Instead of refunding the gluten free muffins or just sending regular muffins in their place, they sent a free order of gluten free chocolate chip pancakes with a note on the box. It was so nice of them, and completely unnecessary! Having to adjust to a gluten free diet is a big, inconvenient chore and often disappointing as you realize your options for treats have been seriously limited. Every meal kind of becomes a drag. It's really nice to have a local place that can accommodate this need! I realize that ordering these kinds of foods pretty much guarantees cross contamination because we can't expect kitchens to have totally separate areas and tools just for some orders--but it's a choice I make once in a while and I'm lucky not to be a person with severe/immediate reactions to exposure. I've never felt sick after eating breakfast from Valentino's and it's not an everyday treat but I'm super grateful to have it as an option!!!“

But best of all the food is outstanding. I had the salmon in dill sauce. Something I have never seen before which tells me they are creative with their menu. It was delicious. No shortage of food. The dinner was a buffet with plenty of yummy food. The service was impeccable. They took care of everything. We ordered the medium cheese steak stromboli which was not only soo delicious but we came home with more than 1/2 of the stromboli which will feed us for a couple more meals.I do want to say that when we were there at lunch time, the employees were also sitting down, having lunch. “I used to frequent Altomeo’s pizza in Wayne, PA a long time ago as it was near my office. When I first started going, I noticed lots of people ordering tomato pie. I never understood why anyone for opt for pizza WITHOUT cheese…until I tried it. Their tomato was amazing. My girlfriend’s family are from Italy and make their own sauce from fresh plum tomatoes. They loved it, too. Eventually, my office moved and when I went back to get a pizza, Altomeo’s was gone! I was devastated. I tried to find out if they moved to no avail. Fast forward to 2023 and I was determined to find out what happened. I stumbled across an article mentioning that Tony Roni’s is their new place. I stopped in and wasn’t disappointed. The crust of the new tomato pie seems thinner than I remember (but I could be wrong). This is addressed by getting a Sicilian pizza with extra plum tomato sauce and no cheese…PERFECT! I frequently order from here even though they are not near me. The staff is always friendly and their other pizzas are good, too, especially the BBQ chicken pizza. But, you HAVE to try the tomato pie. ?“

“Taormina’s has been one of our favorite takeout since we moved to the area a year and a half ago. It was recently sold and has new ownership. We have ordered some of the same items, and they have some new items on the menu. Pizzas are still really good! I ordered a salad that I’ve had a number of times in the past. The chicken and shrimp in the Mediterranean salad was coated with some type of mesquite rub. It was obviously different than the salad from the previous owner. It was very generous but a little bit salty for my taste.If they are going to serve the same menu items, it should be similar or maybe they should update the description of the item.
