“We were visiting from out of town, and my family was having a difficult time deciding on a meal due to the vast options available on the menu, which included breakfast all day. Each of us had at least four different meals in mind. Fortunately, regardless of our choices, the meals were not disappointing. From a Texas burger to a chicken stir fry, the portions were generous and the food was delicious 😋. We were seeking a family-friendly restaurant with an affordable menu due to a rainstorm, and we had forgotten to thaw meat during our stay at a local state campground. We were thoroughly impressed with the service and homestyle cuisine. We intend to return and explore more of the menu options 😋.”

“I took a school group of about 15 teenagers recently. I called ahead and was impressed that they had tables pushed together and were all set up for us when we got there. Their pizza was fantastic and reasonably priced. A gluten free member was able to order a beautiful chicken salad. Everyone was friendly, service was fast and staff was accommodating. I definitely recommend!”

“It has been quite a while since we were there last but he visit was very pleasant. They had run out of hot meatballs but had some in the back frozen. they could have made us order something else but instead took the time to defrost them and heat them up for us. they were also out of the cookies we wanted so they proceeded to make some to order.And after tonight's experience at the Newport location we will be driving the extra 18 miles for our next subway visit.”

“If you're in Newport and looking for a drink, this is the place. It's not pretty, but it is the epitome of a hole in the wall. Beware, they allow smoking but not vaping inside. Drinks were reasonably priced. Patrons and staff alike were friendly.

Parking: It's best to park in town and just walk as there aren't really any parking options at the bar itself.”

“This was our 2nd visit to this location after camping nearby. While the food is good and our server was attentive, the seating process is atrocious! The young girl at the front did not take down names for the wait list so patrons could be taken in the order of arrival. She ignored people standing at counter to check in, disappeared for long intervals and in general did not work with any efficiency for a restaurant that always seems to be busy. We watched several people waiting at front desk leave after NO ONE acknowledged them. No manager seemed to be present to assist in keeping order. As I suspect this place is always busy, seemed odd they handled it so poorly. Not sure if we will try a third time.”

“Never was much of a fan of the pizza, but I will say that the Wedgies are very good and Fox's Pizza Den is the only delivery joint in Juniata County. I will also say that the family which has served as the restaurant owners from its opening many years ago are absolutely great people”
